PSA: if you've torn your fingernail down into the pink and don't have a manicure set nearby/don't have the time to fix it, take a tiny piece of tissue paper or napkin and superglue it of the nail. Just one or two dabs and a layer or two of paper. It forms a shell over your nail that protects the damaged area and prevents the tearing from going deeper into the pink.
