So i know everyone keeps doing shoutouts to drs and nurses for working in such shitty times rn but like?? Can i get a shoutout to every other hospital worker thats not a dr or nurse
Respiratory therapists for giving my pts their breathing treatments and intubating so many others
PT for getting my patients out of bed for the first time in a week
Radiology and rad techs for doing countless bedside chest xrays and CTs
Lab techs for coming to get blood work for entire floors at a time
Pharmacy for getting the right antibiotic doses sent to the floor on time
Cardiac and tele monitors for alerting me when a patient goes into an arrhythmia
Patient transporters for doing endless laps of the hospital while pushing 400+ lbs of patients and equipment
Environmental services for keeping everything as clean as possible when its needed most
And honestly the biggest thank you to the PCAs/CNAs bc without yall i would literally not be able to function at work like i cannot even begin to describe how big of an impact you make on the floors
I just came off a 13 hour understaffed night shift and am feeling sentimental so like,, thanks yall you rock
