#mx. struggle

For the longest time I've debated how to tackle Struggle's S/O. I've always liked the idea of the person who Mr. S has gone balls-to-the-walls insane for being a complete mystery. But you can only avoid drawing a body for so long.

So I opted for two things: A mannequin to represent the corpse and a shadow for the spirit. Both obscure the identity of the person and I don't have to actually draw rotting flesh. (yay)

The spirit is kinda in canon limbo tho. At it's core this is a story is about a lone person spiraling into madness after murdering their spouse. So maybe there is a vengeful ghost haunting them. Or maybe it's all in their head.

Bonus doodles to lighten the mood:

Mr. Struggle here murders their wife and buries them. Whether by guilt, or something else they start spiraling and decide to uncover the body. Something changes in them upon seeing this and from then on, Struggle starts propping up the corpse throughout the house and role-playing their lives before the incident.

This proves to be very ineffective and detrimental to their sanity, as they end up turning themself in and are executed.
