Alleth Lavellan's Journal 9:41 Dragon.
I donāt know how to contact my clan. What word they may or many not have heard of me is uncertain. Iām sure theyāll have heard of this āHerald of Andrasteā, but I canāt know theyāre certain thatās meā¦Deshanna is resourceful`, but if I know her well these events will have caused her to move the clan to a place of safety and hiding for all their sakes. I hope theyāre safe but ache for their presence.
The events at the conclave have left me in a place of unreality, somewhere between the fade and this cold land. Iām unsure about Solas but his interest in the breach leads me to believe this has more to do with Elvhen magic than the Fereldens could concieve, and I feel that to be true. Solas is the only person Iāve met who seems to take a truly pragmatic approach to this supernatural disaster, not the superstition and politics floating in the minds of these goddamn humans. That being said I do respect Cassandra. Her clear-headedness and steadfast approach does her service, even where her zelous nature begets her weaknesses. Leliana seems much the same butā¦there seems something sinister beneath her of which I would do well to be wary. Varricā¦he honestly seems harmless. I know he was to give testimony at the conclave about the events at Kirkwall, a valuable asset no doubt, but his allegiences seem fluid though his heart is in the right place. He seems only to be here in the same capacity I am. We were called by service and have remained out of necessity. Cullen, so far I cannot say that I like him. He seems oddly welcoming but comes off as quite borish, Iām not sure how to asses his battle tactics, though admittedly he is currently working with ameteurs. I might enjoy to test him in a spar one day, find out where his center lies, Cassandra too now I mention it. Though I would much prefer to learn from her.
I am used to being stared at among shemlen but now, this infamy is something else. I hate this Herald bullshit. I donāt know who was in the veil with me, Iāve never been there before but it cannot be trusted. These myths people are weaving in whispers say nothing of the experience I had or of the true chaos at the Temple of Sacred Ashes. These people are deluding themselves for the sake of hope and survival. I canāt say I blame them but the Maker holds no sway over me and I will not forsake my Gods.
Mythal guide me through this world of demons and zealots.
