    Unexpected KNOCK pulls Steven out of his dreary state-- sprawled out across his bed, he ignores the mess that is his room as he stares at the ceiling. He had squeezed his eyes shut, trying not to think about everything weighing down on him. No matter what he does, he can’t shake the feeling, as if it’s the end of the world all over again. 

   Despite repeatedly scrolling through his contacts, Steven can’t bring himself to get up and leave-- u n t i l he realizes someone is at the door. For a moment, he considers pretending to not be home, considering he doesn’t really feel great, but after a few moments, he PUSHES himself up. Walking around items strewn across the floor, he slowly makes his way down the stairs ( still in his pajamas ), brows raising with sudden surprise as he realizes Peedee is there. 

      it  wasn’t  often  riley  actually  invited  people  over  to  his  apartment  ,  one  reason  it’s  an  absolute  fucking  disaster  .  it  was  freezing  in  the  winter  ,  hot  as  fuck  in  the  summer  ,  all  the  furniture  was  busted  to  hell  .  oh  ,  and  the  electricity  just  shuts  off  every  now  and  then  .  but  it’s  honestly  the  only  place  he  is  able  to  afford  .

       the  other  reason  is  simple  .  he  doesn’t  really  have  many  people  he  would  consider  to  be  his  friend  .  which  kind  of  brings  us  to  the  current  situation  he  is  in  now  ;  doing  what  he  does  best  ,  drinking  and  being  an  absolute  disaster  of  a  mess  .

      laying  face  down  on  the  floor  ,  with  a  bottle  of  who  knows  what  at  this  point  in  his  hand  .  he  drank  too  much  .  even  when  absolutely  hammered  he’s  capable  of  telling  when  he’s  gone  a  bit  too  far  .  it’s  when  he’s  no  longer  doing  the  stupid  shit  he  usually  does  when  he  drinks  and  has  now  gone  into  a  depressive  state  .

Ah. Not..... EXACTLY the answer he was... ex-pec-ting..... 

.. But no matter! Dr.Habit stands before the fellow “Medical Practitioner’, the pleasant smile on his face giving away Absolutely Nothing! :-). The confusion is Brief, anyways, and not of Any Importance! 

When Habit speaks, it is with an Evident accent. Of Russian descent, perhaps ? Though, he is quick, VERY quick, to PERK UP upon learning the Title of the “Friendly” Pal before him! Yes, yes, VERY quick! 

--- “I enjoy your way of speeking-! My name am is Habit! DOCTOR Habit! What a love-i-ly naeme you’n have! Pleesure to meet you!” 

And he means it! To show his gratitude, he extends a large, OH-SO LARGE, clawed hand down for a Handed-Shake! Though... his imposing stature MIGHT perhaps make that an... issue. Being about 7′4″ has its draw-backs, of course. 

——    ✰         but   peedee   was   different --  he   knew   that   it   was   a   little   while   since   they   had   talked ,  mostly   because   steven   had   been   so   busy   juggling   other   people’s   problems.   but  --  like   his   dreams   had   told   him --  he   didn’t   have   anyone   to   help.    now   he   can  spend   his   time   trying   to   reconnect.

——    ✰        steven   jogs   up   to   meet   him ,  clearly   excited   to   see   his   friend.   even   if   they   hadn’t   been   super   in  touch   face  to   face ,  at   least   they’d   been   texting   one   another   recently --  so   he   had   some   basis   to   be   here   on.   even   if   he’d   been   busy ,  peede   was   still   one   of   his   closest   friends.
