Mob's more traditional beliefs about gender and relationships make queer interpretations of him more fun than ever, rather than forbid them. Bisexual Mob is a favorite example. Tsubomi is the only person he has loved until now, so he assumes he is straight simply because he has never paid attention to anyone else, besides the fact this is one of the few emotions he doesn't repress.
Another thing is that Mob really values being a Good Man. Men, according to society, should strive to partner with a Good Woman, which is what he believes his ever perfect Tsubomi to be. He also looks up to traditionally "masculine" traits like physical strenght, something he praises in others and tries to develop in himself.
All of this would make it VERY funny if Mob also had a crush on Teruki and Musashi, but thought it was just admiration because they're so strong and confident and brave and nice to him and handsome and—
