His and his children's clothes are made from old military uniforms, as a reference to the sources of the parts from which he was assembled.
He has really long and strong arms; he could easily lift a taller man or bench press a lot of weight. (I don't know what's considered heavy, sorry.)
As mentioned in previous posts, he's an incredible fatalist. He started trying to read some philosophy back in the very beginning, when they waited 27 years for the crew near Miller's planet. but the endless acceptance of all the fucked up things in his life happened after flying past Gargantua, seeing the Event Horizon and the deaths of his children. and if Ranger 1 looked like a grown-up girl, then Ranger 2 was a little boy.
"Parents don't need to bury their children," Murph told Cooper. Endurance agreed, but no one asked him.
He has some problems with black holes.
