- Tim takes over Wayne Enterprises. It’s not his favorite job but he doesn’t dream of labor yk. Between WE and Damian Gotham has plenty of free clinics and suppliers

And Red Hood has explicit rules!! And abilities!! Don’t fuck with working girls or women or kids. Don’t sell to kids or With kids. Don’t lace shit. Or he’ll kill you, like, with a gun, maybe. But he’s a criminal!! Work with and around him. Easy pea—whoa did he just kill someone for smuggling kryptonite? Where did THAT come from?

He wants to kill everyone all the time. He’s so incredibly repressed that despite being the literal symbol of vengeance he is constantly blocking himself off with two thousand hyper specific moral codes because he KNOWS what he’ll turn into if he gives into his actual urges. He knows he cannot kill for any circumstance because then he’ll kill for EVERY circumstance and justify it as protection!! And deserved!!

But he is also the number one winner of the Projector of All Time Award. He thinks EVERYONE wants to kill and rend indiscriminately in the name of Justice. Surely everyone holds themselves back with personalized rules and failsafes. Anyone who snaps in the name of Justice WILL do what he would (ofC he hasn’t snapped! He doesn’t kill, that’s not snapping!)

So when people kill in anger/out of greed/because they’re mentally ill he just thinks they need help. That they could be better. That their circumstances led them here. But the second anyone tries killing for Justice (read: Jason, among others) he FLIPS OUT. clearly they’re going to go ballistic and kill every single rogue and/or criminal they come across with reckless abandon in the name of Justice. Nobody can have a moral code AND kill. I’m going to beat my son bloody about it. AND YET he’s still a hypocrite about his kids being Different!!

He is deeply distrusting! A lot of times it’s deserved! A lot of times it isn’t! His core success strategy is always preparing for and expecting the worst from every situation! What do you MEAN he didn’t tell his eldest son about his brother’s funeral? Why did he treat Stephanie like that?? Out of misplaced grief?? What the fuck was up with the trauma simulator on Tim’s birthday? Why does he always fundamentally misunderstand his only biological child? Why is the one of his children he gets along with the most the one who can intrinsically read him always and never have to Talk About It?

He has so so many neuroses and mental illnesses. He has so many kids and he loves them all very very dearly and has never been able to fully put them first despite it. Even when he thinks he’s putting them first!! He never is :) his trauma is remy ratatouille yanking his hair around at all times. He’s a C+/B- parent at best depending on who and when he’s parenting. His head is so far up his asshole he’s digesting it. Any and all reconciliation with his family has been the result of OTHER family.

Bruce is there for his kids always, and also criticizing them always, and desperately trying to save them always, and failing them always. And they love him anyway. Batfam keeps Batman together, not the other way around. I want someone to punch him in the face for being a dick.
