I don’t but your message did drive me to check out her blog and I think she’s doing a great job of staying strong and keeping her head up during this really difficult time. Also her son is absolutely adorable.

You may not be a pro yet, and honestly I don't think there is anyone out there who is just a professional at general living (if there is please let me know I could really use their advice :P), but every day counts for something. Use this as an opportunity to really reflect on what you've done and some of the things you'd like to change or continue to do.

Update: Shelby has now deleted. All the more reason to stop this from happening you guys. We need to do something about this.

I'm not asking that you get involved directly with the blog, in fact I would highly suggest that you do not because that is just feeding the fire. Yes, I myself did get involved because it just made me really mad, but if you don't feel the need to then don't go directly to the blog. 

What I am asking is that you all send tons and tons of love and support her way. This is a community of beautiful supportive people who have the ability to care for and look out for each other, and in my opinion that is exactly what this community should be doing (and does do quite frequently, but there is always room for improvement in my opinion!). 

She has just stated that she is most likely going to be deleting tonight and that just pisses me off to no end because it seems that she has been pushed away from this community by so many negative outside sources that it is just unacceptable and ridiculous! And she is not the only one! This has happened to too many of you and it really just needs to stop. 

Tumblr is the perfect place for so many of you to come and receive the love and support for doing what you do everyday, and I know that for me it's a place where I feel safe from the cruel outside world. But when stuff like this happens that safety is removed, and I believe that it is our job to decide how are community is going to function. 

So seriously, lets buckle down and change this. Not just wait around for the next hate blog to pop up, but seriously do something about it right now to prevent anything like this happening in the future. So that if anyone tries to do something like this they don't even stand a chance when their account is created. People will always make hate blogs but it is up to us to make them tiny insignificant specks that disappear almost as quickly as they appear.

I posted this last night but I think I posted it at an awkward time so no one saw it. So I’m reposting it right now because I want to hear what you guys have to say!

Also when do you think the prime time for me post stuff like this would be so everyone saw it?

If you could have one superpower in addition to all of your mom powers what would it be?

Mine would be to read minds because how other people think and the ways in which they are different from me have always fascinated me so I think it’d be great to be able to read minds. Especially while they’re sleeping so I could see dreams!

And this is why I’m a psych major, because it’s the closest I can get to reading people’s minds :P
