She’d just moved to the middle of nowhere Ohio from the city. She hadn’t really wanted to move. But, it was sort of just whatever her mom said--went. She’d already gone ahead and gotten herself acclimated to the school and her courses. But, now her mother wanted her to join some extracurricular activities  for when she had to work a bit late. It was then that she discovered that they had a glee club. It was by no means anywhere near the one back at her old school. She had to audition for the entire room of strange people . So she used her previous experience to do a stripped down version of ‘love story’ by taylor swift. she finished and awaited her critics before her as she took a breath.

Mama is going to kill me when she finds out I found you.❞ She looks down at her full plate of a burger and fries, she hadn’t touched them even though her mouth was watering just looking at the food. She wanted to be a good kid, someone that the man might want to keep in his life. ❝I know you might not be my dad so why come back with me? You can pretend that I don’t exist and save yourself a lot of grief with my mama.❞ She picks up a fry and dips it in ketchup, 

She’d gone to get them drinks when she’d seen the other female with Nick. She was all over the place and he seemed to be doing nothing about it. Harper did not do well with others and being at some crappy party didn’t mean that she was going to put up with it. She took the martini that she’d gotten and stalked over to them and tossed it in her face. “Hey skank, why don’t you take your hands off my boyfriend and go work the corner.” And then the woman got angry and charged and Harper clocked her in the face and the woman went down. “Stupid bitch.”
