           ❝  seems  like  everytime  i  see  you,   it’s  under  bad  circumstances.   maybe  i  oughta  make  a  run  for  the  door  whenever  voight  says  he’s  calling  in  svu.  ❞          she  was  teasing,  of  course,   always  loving  and  appreciating  when  they  could  come  from  new  york  to  help  with  a  case  in  any  way  they  could  ;   lord  knows  she  owed  them  all  an  unpayable  debt  after  the  teddy  and  yates  situations,   she  always  enjoyed  seeing  them  walk  through  the  doors  of  the  district.

               sonny laughed as they stood outside his apartment door and soon, he nodded his head in confirmation. “ yes, you did. her name is raven and she’s just shy of a year old. i found her at a crime scene ‘n since i was looking to adopt a dog anyway, i thought why not take her? she’s a jumper so… there’s your warning. ”

quite unsure of where the humor is, he stands rigid but looking to the door and this impassive patience does not betray the eagerness to meet her. or perhaps it does, it’s a subtle emotion despite the greatness of its occupation in his heart. dark lashes flutter to accompany the dive of his head in agreement, understanding beats the waters of his mind too. he would have done the same, without a second thought.
