Β Β Resolution's not HD, but I'm fine with it. I watched the delayed telecast on a whim that I was unable to prepare.
Can't put a price on her reaction after her name was announced. LOL
To the uploader, thanks. :)
My life's to-do list includes seeing a childhood dream unfold. This is probably it. When she said she wanted to be a beauty queen some years ago, I had this growing feeling she will. When she finally qualified for Ms. World - Philippines, I figuratively felt as if Divine Intervention opened up its gates and served both crowns for her, Ms. World - Philippines and Ms. World. Both competitions showed no contest. It really seemed meant to be.
What gave away that it was her before the announcement, though, was when one of the hosts interviewed her mother. In some competitions I've watched, if the host interviews the family of one finalist, the crown is in the bag.
In Megan's case, the second crown has been served.
Admittedly, I've been a fan of Megan Young since her starting days in a reality competition. I was little surprised when she was booted early. Then again, by observing how the industry works, the intelligent and respectable rarely make it to the top. I thought moving to another station would move her a few notches up, and I was right. She may not have become mainstream, but I don't really like mainstream, haha.
From a quiet fan, congratulations, Megan. Continue to draw kindness from within.
Congrats Megan! @meganbata wiieee!!! #msworld2013 #msphilippines ππ
