For everyone who keeps freakin out about Arthur, I have a few questions I’d like you to ask yourself: • Did they have sex in the episode? • Do your children know what goes on in the bedroom’s of grown adults? • Did you have to explain to your children what was going to happen on the wedding night after they saw Ariel, Cinderella and Belle got married? • Leviticus also says wearing a mix of fabrics is a sin, has that stop you from wearing a light cotton blend? • Have you seen the show before? It really wasn’t a shock to anyone who is familiar with Mr Ratburn. As for “How do I explain this to my children?” Y’all are the ones sexualizing this. It’s honestly stupid easy to explain. I told our oldest two pretty much this: “Two boys can love each other the same way Mommy and Daddy does. So can two girls. You can love anyone you want.” I think Sidney went back to making farty noises with his hand and knee-pits and I think Cash said he was never getting married cause he didn’t want to share his stuff or have kids. It just shook their little worlds 🙄
Just the Mr. Ratburn part of this drawing was posted to the ECDC, this is from the episode where Arthur thought Mr. Ratburn was up to no good, dismembering people and storing them in trunks, etc. when it turned out he was just into puppetry.
