Hey :) Oh man, it’s great to hear from you again, I hope you’re doing well!!! But wait, Ironzemo? As in Zemo the orchestrator of CW? That Zemo? 

Wow. Okay. Gimme a minute.

I can honestly say I’ve never considered this pairing before. I definitely never saw any content with it either. But... I suppose it’s possible? I mean, Zemo found those documentations on how the WS killed Tony’s parents. Now, we all know which plan he came up with, but what if he’d chosen a different road? What if he’d approached Stark? What if he’d decided to drop the truth in a different way instead of launching a terrorist attack on an UN building (what the hell??? How could this be his first choice anyways???).

Sooo I guess it’s no less likely than any of the other Tony/villain scenarios. And bonus points: Zemo really hates Wanda (and Steve), he’d tolerate absolutely no shit from them. I feel like “No killing or maiming my team mates,” would be a pretty regular exchange between them. As well as: “C’mon, Tony, please???” 

“...no killing or permanently maiming my team mates.” 

“-and then Nat got us out,” Tony finishes and takes a huge bite of his cheeseburger.

He always insists on eating cheeseburger after a kidnapping attempt. Bucky is sure that there’s a story there--one Pepper probably knows, going by the glare she shoots him--but he lets it go. If all it takes to keep Tony from jumping head first into the next near death experience is a cheeseburger then you better bet Bucky is gonna get the man his cheeseburger. And no, he doesn’t care that it’s three thirty in the morning.

“Wait, wait, hold up!” Rhodey interrupts with a frown. “What do you mean, she got you out? You were tied up and surrounded by seven goons. How did you get out of that?”

Very slowly Tony lowers his half-finished cheeseburger. Shoots Natasha a questioning glance. “Well...”

Natasha, of course, smirks shamelessly. Bucky expects nothing less. Seeing her pride, Tony shrugs and turns back to his friends. Says nonchalant as you please, “Did you know there are at least five different ways to kill a man with a tampon?”

Rhodey chokes on his soda.

Natasha’s smirk widens.

Pepper tilts her head in what looks worryingly like intrigued contemplation.

Tony--predictably--preens at the clear awesomeness of his girlfriend. 

"He got his hands on the toaster" ������ I'm imagining Tony saying: I have a toaster and a hair pin that could probably be used as a screwdriver and I'm not afraid to use it!!! 6ft tall Steve would whimper and tremble in fear 

Listen that’s exactly what happens. Meanwhile Bucky is caught between exasperation--Steve, you could break him with one arm--and worry--he loves Tony, truly, but the guy is one (more) lab accident away from becoming a super villain alright. So he doesn’t know what to expect when he makes it home, but whatever it is, he’s Not Prepared for the real thing.

Tony has managed to use the hair pin as a screwdriver and tho he’s abandoned the toaster--which is MOVING ON IT’S OWN NOW, and no, Bucky isn’t even gonna touch that--and how the fuck does one make explosives out of a light bulb, some cables, a soda can and a lighter???

I have a bunch of ideas for gifsets, but this is like, the one where I only needed to deal with one scene from a single movie so I was gonna go for it and then I realized I did it already and was like OKAY WELP GUESS I’LL JUST SIT HERE THEN.
