I still can't believe this wig is real
Igaram’s death is one of the most traumatic moments of my childhood because I literally watched it when I was like seven, and it hit me so hard. And literally, I just relived it with pure post-traumatic stress and I wanna give props to Charithra, because when she starts screaming from the ship, it’s like… goosebumps, I mean, childhood trauma unlocked. Thanks for ruining my life all over again, but hey, what can you do.

OPLA Season 2 Spanish Rewatch Episode 3
Zoro's hallucinations were a good addition. I hope we continue to get them in later seasons at least every now and then. Plus, it's always good to see Mihawk again. Steven is just beautiful 😍
I continue to love the fact that Taz is dubbing himself because the sass he gives Zoro here is perfect. The delivery on "technique, talent, and style" was spot on.
I find it funny that Vivi's code name in Spanish is Señorita Miércoles because Miércoles can be used to avoid saying "mierda," or shit, so it's like her name is Miss Shit 😂 I also have to say that Iñaki's delivery here reminds me of Eugenio Derbez. In fact, Iñaki's delivery reminds me of Eugenio a lot of times. I wonder if he knows him, or if he's an inspiration for him. If you don't know who Eugenio Derbez is, I'll just say he's one of the goats of comedy in Mexico. He's also a pretty good actor, and he's the voice of Donkey in the Spanish dub of Shrek. So... Pretty much Derbez was trusted to dub Eddie Murphy 🐐
Ms. Monday looks like Whoopi Goldberg to me for some reason. I'm like... Are we about to watch Sister Act?! The casting for Baroque Works has been really good overall. Somehow, they managed to not make Vivi's Enchanting Vertigo Dance ridiculous, and I do think over half of that credit goes to Charithra. The effects were also good, but Charithra had a good grasp on what that was supposed to look like. Nami and Zoro being the most sober and figuring out the truth makes so much sense. Also, Emily's eyes are so beautiful. I'm always mesmerized when they close up on them.
Zoro's fight was out of this world. Huge kudos to Mackenyu for actually fighting 100 people out of commitment to the fandom. He knew we would be counting, and I sure was. He knows the fandom so well. The choreography was stunning. I just knew this was gonna be good the moment I heard that he had brought in people from the Rurouni Kenshin live action. The bridge part and all the turning and whatnot after it reminded me of Law vs. Big Mom, where the fighting pretty much looks like dancing. It's so elegant. Once he's left with just Mr. 9, I love how Mr. 9 is cocky but also so pressed by Zoro's mere presence and skill. He straight up looks terrified when he falls and is left looking up at Zoro. Ms. Monday takes off her habit, and she no longer looks like Whoopi Goldberg. Now, she looks like she's about to Whoopi some ass. Zoro ends up winning though, and we get more Mihawk at the end and some growth mindset from Zoro.
Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine arrive, and they also look amazing. Poor Mr. 8. I wonder if he's actually going to stay dead here or if he's going to pop in at the end of season 3. For now, it looks like he's dead. People are so ready for the same treatment for Pell 😂
Huge kudos to Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9 too. The smiles, the pinkies, and his courageous defiance at the end were so well done. Jazzara Jaslyn also has Miss Valentine's sadistic nature down, and Camrus Johnson makes Mr. 5 look cool even when he's picking his nose.
Vivi tells the straw hats her true name and background as they get away, but just as she's getting into it, we get these beautiful petals. Then, we hear "Que bonito barco tienen." And we end the episode with my goddess Robin looking like a menace. She's so perfect 💜❤️😍🔥🤩🥰🩷🌸
