I have a bad habit of making life harder for myself.

I've finally decided I need to commit myself to improving my art and actually getting good at something I've been too impatient to actually sit down with. I started my defunct Tumblr account back up, I posted some nice fanart of a particular bandana-donning trash bandit which I'm particularly proud of...

Aaaaaaand now I'm leaving home for five weeks.

Bringing along my bulky 20-year-old hand-me-down drawing pad on a trip that will include a two-way 18 hour road trip and two transatlantic flights is, at the very least, wildly impractical, so I've decided for the next few weeks, I'm gonna have to commit to something I thought I had moved on from forever.

I'm gonna have to draw with a mouse.

And that's not all. I'm going to try my absolute darndest to draw something with my mouse every single day for the entire trip. I might miss a few days, vacation activities and all, but that's not the point. The point is the challenge, and the much needed practice.
