This was supposed to be just a regular sketch, but something went wrong.

I drew Dust Sans because I’d recently been listening to a ton of SharaX’s Dusttale-inspired music, which reminded me of him. He was the first Sans from an alternate universe (AU) that I really fell in love with ten years ago.

In this—let's call it—alternate version of the Dust Sans universe, Sans didn't exactly crumble into dust; instead, the Grief that had deeply permeated his soul halted his disintegration. Now, he is essentially made of dust himself; he kills every living thing and collects their dust to fight amidst clouds of it, gaining levels just like in the standard AU. The more dust there is, the more creatures he has killed in his AU—and the higher his level becomes.

Finally drew the thing I said I would! Inspired by the convo I had with @somegrumpynerd
