I lived in New York then with my boyfriend and two dogs . Sadly , they have all passed away , from cancer and doggy old age . I moved back to Southern California about two years ago . I have a new dog Izzy and things are much different than when I signed on her last time . I am an art, illustrator , pattern designer with lots of licensed art under my belt . Looking for a fun community of art sharing , maybe stupid meme sharing , and not interested in MAGA at all .

WELP... I'm back from vacation. Back in my home, with my PC, and my drawing tablet... Oh no.
It seems my fear has been realised. I've gotten so used to drawing with a mouse that, now that I'm back, I've completely forgotten how to draw with a pad. The little muscle memory I had developed, out the window.
So, here's a little thing I did. Only attempt 5 of drawing anything remotely tangible with my drawing pad. Honestly... what if I just didn't switch back? Like, my style is pretty cartoony anyway, it's not like I need the pen for thousands of little brush strokes. Maybe, just maybe... I could make the mouse work.
Or not. Who knows? For now, I'm just gonna try to get my pen-holding muscle memory back. Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it.

Me when foxes
I wanted to draw something else today but I just got back from Europe and gotta recover from jetlag all over again, so here's whatever this is. It's a bit scuffed (especially in the face area), but I'd say it's pretty good for something I did in an afternoon.
That's about it. But real quick, I'm really happy with the reception my last drawing got, thank you all so much. Granted I plugged it in a few places, but the fact is something I drew that I'm really proud of gained attention, and I'm really grateful for that.
