Propaganda under the cut
Morven Hellwain the Sorcerer
My version of Morven and her Portrait in the 2nd season. I picture her hair slicked back (cuz she pushes her hair back in Robins body).
I Adore this campaign so much. Wyrdwood my beloved

Staring into the eyes of the you that no longer exists.
I will probably tweak her design, but I needed to draw this immediately. Even if there's no official artwork of her, I am to happy we got a description of Morven.
I think that whole floor was fucked as hell, you and your friends are dead <3 Also I doubt Morven would want to be painted, so I'm sure there's something creepy about your murderer being able to paint your portrait.
I doubt they'll address it directly because it's not that kind of show but I can't stop thinking about the theme of sexual/gendered violence in Morven's story. witch hunts generally are just institutional murder of women, and I really appreciate that Andy seems to know that and is playing into it
There was the bit in the library where Morven's reading a book on witches and goes "'ohh what are witches thinking?' Just bloody ask us?" which is a sentiment I think most women will recognize
In the portrait room Luke says "I think you would assume these are victims of Nickol in... some capacity" which. I mean yeah. That's where my mind would go too. The fact that this man who used to have a lot of political power in the Inquisition has a room full of paintings of women makes you wonder if he has any... other motivations. I think in Morven's Fog vision Nickol even called her "the one that got away"
There's also the "penetration" or "impregnating" of Nickol inserting the tablet into her body. The loss of bodily autonomy as now she has to bear the scars of what he did to her
It was great rewatching all of @oxventure Wyrdwood season 1! Love the chemistry of the characters, can’t wait to see how they fare in season 2 😌👌
