Ingredients: 1/4 cup of freshly roasted coffee beans. 2 cups of filtered water. 1 coffee grinder. 1 coffee maker or French press. 1 coffee filter if using a coffee maker. 1 kettle. 1 coffee mug.
Instructions: First, weigh out 1/4 cup of your favorite freshly roasted coffee beans. Make the coffee beans into a medium-coarse powder. The texture will be like sea salt. In a kettle, bring 2 cups of filtered water to a boil. After it boils, let it cool for about 30 seconds. Put the ground coffee in the coffee maker, put a filter in the basket, and then put the coffee maker under the filter. If you are using a French press, just put the ground coffee right into the press. Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds slowly. Let it bloom for 30 seconds and make sure to wet all the grounds the same way. This lets the coffee's flavors come out. Once the flower is done, slowly pour the rest of the hot water over the grounds. To make coffee, just press the "brew" button. Put the lid on top of the French press and let it steep for 4 minutes. When you're ready to serve, slowly press down on the plunger in the French press to separate the grounds from the liquid. When you use a coffee maker, wait until it's done brewing. Pour the coffee that you just brewed into a coffee mug. Have fun with your tasty coffee! You can make it your own by adding milk, sugar, or anything else you like.
