I have a couple of fun ideas on why the morality core doesn’t tak and I would like to share them. first being that it could be part of its personality, as in since it’s whole thing is being moral it’s constantly having debates with its head for what’s right and what’s wrong, scrupliosity core, ruminating core, it’s to busy having 3 diffrent arguments with itself at once core so it’s too busy to speak.

or that due to Glados always fighting against it it diesbt have the chance to speak, it’s always fighting against her on a level so large it has to be putting all of itself at her at once, that also kind of plays into my idea of why she says things like “for science” not that I don’t think she does do things for science but I think she has to frame things or say them in a certian way to get around the resurrections of the morality core. We don’t fully know how the cores influence her besides just “voices in her head” which ofcourse is a good explanation but thee is some more depth you can dig with that, I do think the morality core or actually all the portal 1 cores but the morality one the most of them has a more intertwined way of how they effect Glados since they are all building her up for who the company wants her to be.

also as a bit of a divergence from that it doesn’t speak due to how much it has to fight with Glados constant it’s a bit damaged, that’s why it’s kind of limp in your hands if I’m remebering correctly.
