GLaDOS is a Giant Moray Eel (Gymnothorax javanicus). I like that Eels are poisonous.
Moray eels are known to be territorial and aggressive and theyāre one of the biggest species of eels! Also, have you seen an eel not from the side?
I like the idea of mermaid! GLaDOS being really big and long like she is in the game. And she does move like a snake. Like her aquarium is huge running around the facility because sheās just long and long.
Wheatley is a Slender-spined porcupine fish (Diodon nicthemerus) (theyāre really cute). Like the name indicates itās in the Tetraodontiformes orderā¦ meaning they haveā¦ Tetrodotoxin! Give it up for the bitch who makes links between things and no one gets it! Itās a neurotoxin. Most Tetraodontiformes produce it (even if some non fishes species do too).
Also porcupines swim in school and i find it fitting for Wheatley. A lot of puffers are solitary and i canāt see this little goober do that (donāt mention the other half of the game it wasnāt him).
But THE one porcupine fish trait is how they puff to defend themselves! The one thing that doesnāt fit is that theyāre smart. They recognise humans and act like puppy. Wheatley would definitely puff up at the slight scare.
Did you know we sent the first fish to space in 1973? It was the Mummichog fish! However, I think the Zebra fish (Danio rerio) would fit Space Core better. And we send this ones in space too! Theyāre small tropical fishes. And theyāre pretty. Mummichogs are grey thatās kinda boring.
The Anger Core is a Piranha. Pygocentrus nattereri probably. Thatās it.
P-Body is a Cock-Eyed Squid (Histioteuthis bonnelli) and ATLAS is a Southern Blue-Ringed Octopus (Hapalochlaena maculosa). First, Cephalopods are really smart and they can do little tricks and for two testing bots itās perfect. Squids are longer and octopuses are bigger soooo (actually not always but bear with me) I also think they should just be little mollusks swimming around GLaDOS. Everyone are little merpeople but those two. Also they donāt talk so.
Rick would be a Pacific Spiny Dogfish (Squalus sukleyi) which is a shark. I think theyāre neat little guys!
The Ego core would definitely be a pink betta fish.
The Fact sphere would be a Mauve Stinger (Pelagia noctiluca) which fact! Is not a fish. Itās a jellyfish. Idk why the english found it fitting to name them fish when they donāt even have bones? I know jelly is for the mesoglea but fish?
The curiosity core is a yellow seahorse (Hippocampus kuda). i don't have explanations anymore i just feel it you get me?
The morality core is a pictus catfish (Pimelodus pictus). haha because Glados killed everyone during bring your cat to work day even with the morality core attached. Also, they're cute little guys no?
The intelligence core is a bluespotted lagoon ray (taeniura lymma)
