Knowing Loona, it could be an insult. But Moxxie chose not to take it that way today, instead he tried to remember when Loona would have seen him sword fight. He was usually using firearms. Then he recalled when Andrealphus had conjured up the snow hydra. Loona was definitely there, Moxxie had even been using her as a steed of sorts. So the question was probably sincere.

"Oh, I learned when I did with everything else growing up. But much later on down the line. When all the firearms and mostly been mastered, I asked if I could learn a few bladed weapons too in case I didn't have any guns on hand. So I had an instructor brought in. So a blade and sword specialist who knew my family, actually. Only my father ever got to know their names, for their protection, I imagine. Why? Were you interested in learning?" he asked.

"No, I -- it's the opposite." Being downbelow in the first place gives Riley a persistent headache. It's something about the air, the density of it. Arguing with a receptionist who could barely be bothered to drag her gaze away from her phone isn't helping. "I'm trying to buy you out. Insurance. There's the small, soft snort of amusement, not in the least kind. But in the quiet sort of sympathy, or even perhaps empathy in the action.

"It's safe with me-- Mistress of Secrets and all that!" Kar assured glibly. Sure it usually mean the most esoteric and arcane knowledge, and not a confessional, but hey. She got to mold and change the myriad titles and honors to her own interpretations.

The last line said in the tone and cadence of the Threefold Goddess likely repeated to Kar herself, and not an actual mimicry of her actual voice.

"And yet..." She vaguely gestured. "There are mortals getting degrees in just studying my family's interpersonal dramas and all that. So maybe not follow that outright. I dunno."

Where do I even begin? He's the adventurous & curious type of kinky, so he'd like to try just about anything and everything at least once. To say what he'd wish to try? Let's see.

"You just called me old and boring, two things I'm most certainly not. I don't give two shits what you call others but me... I'm not gonna listen bullshit from a furry teenager wannabe who's whole thing is just being edgy just for the sake of it-...." he was not gonna let this fly and it was time to show if he really was old and boring.

"Joyous birthday or whatever, HERE. You can eat it all, I won't call you FAT. " yes she wrapped him up like a burrito so he stays warm while devouring the ice cream. got a matching hat for him too. ( you only get this pampered ONCE a year so don't get used to it :U )

Moxxie was wrapped up so cozy in the blanket burrito he almost couldn't reach the ice cream Loona had given him. But he managed. It reminded him of being an impling.

"Loona, you know you don't have to... I mean, this isn't all necessary. But thank you."

He reached for the bowl and pulled it closer. The reassurance about not being teased about it later was not too even if he didn't believe it. It was a nice reprieve from it.

When nobody was looking, he sank back in the cushion of the chair and just enjoyed his ice cream.

Things Barbie absolutely HATES to hear from strangers! She is her own person, and individual. Living in her twins shadow just makes her lose her mind right away. She does not have a warm relationship with Blitz (currently) in any verses and being compared to him.

This is one reason she much rather fuck around on Earth in her human disguise than spend a second in hell where she is just known for being Blitz's twin sister, and nothing else. Their history together still haunts her, all the shit that went down on that one day etc...
