According to the Aurors, who later called Remus Lupin to identify the body, she was found in a London alley a few days after Sirius’ arrest on November 1st 1981.

The autopsy concluded that she succumbed to the cold after her already fragile health deteriorated over the previous years. A very panicked Walburga Black had reported her missing that same day, despite her condition usually leaving her unable to leave her wheelchair.

It's just that I tend to love heavily flawed characters, so taking away all of those flaws would make them rather boring to me.

Regulus isn't nearly as bad as some other characters at the end of the day, but that's also why | like characters such as Walburga, Barty, Bellatrix, etc.

Regulus would totally agree with her, so you can imagine his reaction to 19-20 y/o Alphie when he announced his engagement to Harry.

I think she's most likely Regulus' twin sister. I don't want to make the age gap between her and Sirius too significant, especially since she's already heavily infantilized by her own parents (which is a major source of conflict in her story), and that already creates a noticeable disconnect at times.

Also, if I made her a year younger than Regulus, it would feel a bit extreme for Walburga to have 3 children within roughly 3 and a half years 💀

I'm a triplet myself, so having a twin isn't exactly unfamiliar territory for me to write about 🤔

That said, I do think Hamal would still be perceived as the youngest child, largely because of the way her parents treat her. I can also see Sirius and Regulus viewing her that way too (especially because of her lack of self-agency), regardless of the fact that she and Regulus are actually the same age.
