while talking about fnaf moon yesterday i mentioned how most moon characters are deities and there isnt much moon-coded characters except when theyre paired with a sun counterpart.
thinking of the most popular things right now like genshin, theres 3 whole moon goddeses but a sun does not exists. Mauvika i feel isn't one because she's more sun-coded than being the literal diety that represents the literal sun in their world. Or the cookie run franchise, i'm not familiar with it but i know there exists a moonlight cookie yet no sun one.
meanwhile, there is a LOT of sun character architypes instead of being literal deities like the manic pixie dream girl (think summer, sam, eternal sunshine, penny) , the sunshine trope, the always passionate and burns brightly, the superhero and so on yet i cant think of more than a few examples of standalone moon tropes that doesnt rely on a sun trope to bounce them off, and theres barely any sun dieties ... idk thinking
I am bummed that this show wasn’t as visually stimulating as the bowl show and he didn’t play cherry wine as part of the standard set list so there was no MOON SEQUENCE
