I approach Patreon with the same dedication to accessibility, transparency, and good research you see on this blog — but with an added focus on creating a safe and emotionally sustainable community. Access to the coven Discord server. This is an exclusive community for advice, sharing, and discussion of all things witchy/pagan. We’ve already got the beginnings of a great little community! I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the folks who are already a part of the server, and we have a lot of great conversations. We use the Discord server to share glimpses of our practice, ask for advice and tips, discuss magical theory, and talk about other special interests. I am much more active on Discord than on Tumblr, so if you want to speak to me directly this is the place to do it.
Membership in the Mystic Bitches Book Club. All members of the coven are given automatic access to our book club, where we read both fiction and nonfiction books about witchcraft, magic, and related topics. We read one book each month and have dedicated text channels on Discord for both spoilers and spoiler-free discussion. We will also have at least one live voice chat to discuss our thoughts and experiences with that month’s book. Members of the club vote for each month’s book, and are welcome to make suggestions for future months. At the time of this post, it’s looking like our first book club read will be Garden Witchery by Ellen Dugan!

Participation in our monthly LIVE full moon circle. Part astrology, part energy healing, part Wiccan esbat celebration, the coven full moon circle is a monthly ritual for healing, release, and growth. The exact nature of the circle will be different each month, with themes chosen based on the time of year and the moon’s astrological position. Full moon circles will be held over video chat, so you will be able to see me and my moon altar! I will be using my Reiki training to transmit energy across time and space so we can connect energetically across the distance. [Note — I know a lot of us are busy during the week, so full moon circles will always be held on the Saturday closest to the full moon.]

Participation in our monthly LIVE full moon circle.
A monthly new moon guided meditation. While the full moon is the ideal time for healing, manifestation, and connecting with personal power, the new moon is a time for self-reflection and new beginnings. In this spirit, members of the High Priestess tier will receive a .mp3 of a guided meditation on the day of the new moon to help them look inward and deeply connect with themselves. As with full moon circles, the theme of each month’s guided meditation will be chosen based on the time of year and the moon’s astrological position.
I fully intend to add more patron tiers in the future, but for now I’m really happy with these three. Patrons should choose the right tier for them based on their financial means, interest, and the level of commitment they want to make to the coven. Regardless of which tier you choose, I’m excited to connect with you!
