In 1994, the original Joshua Redman Quartet released MoodSwing, an instant classic that helped launch each memberβs career as a leader. The members of the quartet reunited for the critically acclaimed album RoundAgain in 2020 and now for a new album, LongGone, featuring original Redman compositions from the RoundAgain recording sessions, plus a live performance of the MoodSwing track "Rejoice," captured by SFJAZZ at the San Francisco Jazz Festival.Β

I realized eventually though, my emotional bucket has a capacity. And I was tired of it overflowing and sloshing about and being a mess. . So I put up walls and shoved everyone out. I keep a very few people inside and I love them freaking FIERCE. I have enough for them. But not for everyone. Because if I try to be enough for everyone, I end up not having enough for me. .
