retrouvé au cœur des monts la lumière de la neige, lumière ultime et douce dans le jour qui prend fin, lumière surface qui diffuse dans les champs disparus, lumière surgie d’entre les arbres de la forêt occasionnant de petits accidents de relief supplémentaires parmi la pente naturelle, lumière colline sur des crêtes invisibles, en lutte avec la brume, la route qui serpente ; parenthèse de lumière qui s’isole parmi celle du jour, qui se glisse par dessous entre la nature et elle et qui au point de jonction finit toujours par céder

rediscovered in the heart of the mountains, the light of snow — an ultimate, gentle light in the day drawing to its close; a surface light spreading across vanished fields; a light emerging from between the forest trees, creating small additional accidents of relief along the natural slope; a hill-light upon invisible ridges, struggling against the mist, the winding road; a parenthesis of light isolating itself within the daylight, slipping underneath between nature and herself, and which, at the point of contact, always ends by giving way
