as per the results of the interest check, we will be running this exchange on a 10-week creation period. participants will be required to request and offer a minimum of 3 ships. the word count minimum for writers will be 1250 words, and the minimum for artists will be flat colors (monochrome styles allowed).

every single femslash ship in bungou stray dogs is considered a rarepair by the bsd rarepair exchange standards; even the most popular one has less than 200 fics on ao3 using the otp: true filter. so, i thought it might be fun to run a round of this exchange dedicated only to femslash ships! this will include couples and polyships made up of canonically female characters (i.e. no genderbend ships). nonbinary/transfem/etc. headcanons of canonically female characters are allowed.

this exchange will be hosted through ao3 with an optional discord server for participants to join. assuming there is enough interest to run the exchange, the discord server will open at the conclusion of the interest check.

If Louisa could have it her way, she would have missed the event entirely. But Francis had wanted to go all out with his post-disaster celebration and insisted everyone should attend, especially her.

At least, that wasn’t a Guild-only party, and so, Lucy would be beside her. And speaking of Lucy…

“You want some?” She asked, tilting her head to point at the lipstick bar she had just used on herself. Louisa barely even had time to think about the implications of said lipstick bar touching her skin right after it had touched Lucy’s when her friend frowned in consideration. “Though this other one fits your outfit more.” The redhead then continued, picking up another one.

“Well, I-- I trust your jugdement.”

Plus, the effect on her was the same; even if the rest hadn’t been used as recently, those were all Lucy’s and none was exactly brand new.

“I think you’re going to like this one.” Louisa could hear Lucy whispering in her ear as she sat back down beside her at the table, which was currently only occupied by the two of them. Even if there was no need, both their seats were as close as possible without constantly causing their elbows to bump… though, most of the time they solved that by interlocking their arms together.

“Oh, show me.” Louisa instantly replied, as Lucy proceeded to place the book she had just brought over said table, letting her take a look before opening it.

Yes, she was going to like that one.

It was a story about three best friends accidentally being dropped into a strange world hidden in plain sight when one of them played with a magic neither of them understood or even believed in at first. It was about discovering themselves in that world, looking at the uglier part of their relationship and coming back home stronger than they had been. It was about being separated to reunite years later, in better positions to be together in more than one sense.

And the best part? She got to read it with Lucy, her best friend and now girlfriend too… precisely after having been through some similar experiences. Save for the actual different world, of course.

Though, moving to a different country still counted a bit, right?

“It’s good to see you again.” Was the answer she got, and as undeserving as it may feel from her own perspective, Louisa had no doubt she had been forgiven. Oh, Lucy, sweet and brave Lucy.
