an updated list of my favourite mods for gale specifically, containing general mods, as well as friendship & romance specific mods.
general mods
1 - gale beard fix (obtainable by installing it with the in-game mod manager)
this mod fixes a bug with gale's beard that causes extensive clipping issues, especially when he speaks.
2 - gale earring physics (obtainable by installing it with the in-game mod manager)
adds physics to gale's earrings. it's a small qol mod, but it really makes a difference in cutscenes.
3 - tara joins the camp (obtainable by installing it with the in-game mod manager)
this mod doesn't only allow tara to actually join camp early on, but she also has dialogue with the protag. the mod adds greetings to her, and uses gale's and tara's act 3 dialogue for a more immersive experience.
4 - gale's wizardly updo (obtainable by installing it with the in-game mod manager)
slightly alters gale's existing hairstyle and makes it (imo) make more sense. a longer version is also available from the same author.
5 - re-designed tent for gale (available on nexus)
Gale's attempt to reorganize his tent in a way that reminded him of his comfortable room in Waterdeep.
this mod adds warm lights, potted plants and much more to gale's tent to make it more reminiscent of his home in waterdeep.
another bonus of this mod is that many of gale's scene aren't too dark anymore with the added light sources, especially in act 1 this makes a huge difference. i highly recommend it.
6 - delfinition's armors (available on nexus)
adds a really nice armour variant to gale.
friendship & romance mods
1 - hug your companions - in-dialogue hug interactions (available on nexus)
this mod allows you to hug gale (as well as all other companions). it's available for all body types and is triggered by in-game dialogue. gale has a voiceline after you request a hug and after the hug itself.
2 - kisses mod (available on nexus)
allows you to use various kiss animations for gale.

Hihi, hope you are doing well! Taking you up on your very kind offer: what are some of your favorite BT2 outfit mods and poses? Just started modding and am especially interested in androgynous/feminine fits that work for BT2 since my OC is non-binary and a drag queen.

hi!! sorry it took me a couple days to get to this, hope you're doing well today π i feel like i know just about every bt2xbt2 pose pack that exists so i'll list as many of those as i can think of plus some solo pose packs. and then for outfits i'll do a combo of my personal favorite ones and ones i just think you might like since they're more feminine! admittedly i don't know of many BT2 dresses (elenion isn't comfortable wearing dresses so usually i only bother to even check if they work on bt1 halflings for my other tav, briala) but i do have a handful downloaded. i'm going to default to listing nexus links when available but for some of these i'll include a patreon link.
some of these mod authors are on tumblr so i tagged them, because if it were me i'd love to know i was included on a mod rec list, but if anyone here would rather not be tagged please let me know!!
and finally, be warned that i have a lot of mods installed and i'm not going to list everything, but this still got kind of long (especially since i added my annoying commentary instead of just listing the mods)! gonna put it under a cut because of that.

Overlove by Marymeeee / Maryposes (Nexus) (Patreon) - i LOVE this pack because there are 30 bt2xbt2 poses in here and it's such a nice variety, it's also been refitted for bt1xbt1, and the "My Hope", "Adore", "Fondness", "Passion", and "Appreciation" poses are ones the creator very generously made based on my suggestions so I get especially happy when I see people use those.

Red's Romantic Poses by @lenorebutsad (Kofi) - not sure if this one is on nexus or patreon but it's free to download on kofi and very very cute. 12 bt2xbt2 poses.
Aufelle's Boudior by AufelleClauvellan (Nexus) - 7 bt2 solo poses and 3 bt2xbt2 couple poses. the solo poses also work on bt1 and the couple poses work on bt1xbt2.
Path of the Dreamer by morrigan6 (Nexus) - 10 bt2xbt2 couple poses. one of my favorites purely for having a shoulder kiss in it π₯Ί
Cozy Midwinter Poses by @jessiemeows (Nexus) (Patreon) - 4 adorable couple poses that I believe work with every combo of standard tall race body types!
Cozy Moments Pose Pack by @rdekarios (Nexus) - 13 super cute couple poses! These work for the following combos: bt1xbt2, bt1 halfling/gnome x standard bt2, bt1xbt1, and bt2xbt2!
Axi and Cay's LADS Poses by @axianaa (Nexus) - 11 bt2 solo poses and 9 bt1xbt2 couple poses. I've also managed to use some of the couple poses in here with Gale and Elenion but doing that kind of thing can take a lot of time and doesn't always work out.
Poses of Plenty by lumadaire / @virmire (Nexus) - 20+ solo poses that work on both bt1 and bt2! according to the mod page they also work for bt3.
Paz's Poses Vol. 1 by dapazo (Nexus) - 10 spicy bt2xbt2 couple poses. these are so good and I wanna make the time to take photos with them so badly but I keep forgetting.
Dancing Bard by eunknown26381 / @the-red-drow (Nexus) - 5 solo poses for bt1 and bt2 inspired by ballet dancing. another pose pack I really wanna take photos with later.
Blasphemous by Utrennyaya / @wild-surge (Patreon) - 5 very spicy bt2xbt2 couple poses. I've tested these, love them, can't wait to find the time to take some photos that tumblr staff would try to kill me for posting.
A.P.E.X. - Additional Photo Mode Expressions by lumadaire / @virmire (Nexus) - technically not poses but I feel like I need to include these because it's essential to me! new expressions for everyone!
Mercurial Visage - Photo Mode Expressions by Forosnai (Nexus) - same as above! i overuse the wink and suggestive glance on Elenion.
Vanilla Expressions Enhanced by lumadaire / @virmire (Nexus) - similar to the above two mods, but this one just takes the vanilla photo mode expressions and adds eye directions so your characters don't have to always be looking straight ahead! sounds like a small thing but goes a long way.

Vak's Sweet Treats Poses by LaVakariana / @vakariansyndrome (Nexus) - this is mostly a bt1xbt2 pack but there are I think two bt2xbt2 poses and two bt1xbt1 in it? though, tbh i would love to see if i can use some of the bt1xbt2 poses f from this pack by adjusting them with the new features in lighty lights that allow you to move individual parts of a character's body around.
The Beauty and the Hunk by LaVakariana / @vakariansyndrome (Nexus) - 9 couple poses for bt2xbt4, bt4xbt4, and bt2xbt2!
With Love Poses by @jessiemeows (Patreon) - this was a giveaway pack so it contains a mix of poses: 3 bt2xbt2 couple poses (that I requested, tysm again π), 4 bt1xbt2 couple poses, 1 bt1xbt4 pose, and 1 bt1 solo pose.
Silhouettes by heyitsgoblin (Nexus) - 30 solo poses! most of them are shown with bt1 in the photos but they work just fine for bt2, and maybe for other body types as well.

Tavern Tales by @rdekarios (Nexus) (Patreon) - these are solo poses for all body types, designed to be mixed and matched to create platonic scenes! 16 poses.

Ateez Poses by Marymeeee / Maryposes (Nexus) (Patreon) - 23 solo poses for BT2 and BT4, inspired by the k-pop group Ateez. I absolutely love these. Perfect for bards. π
K-Pop Poses by HastursQueen (Nexus) - another k-pop inspired pack. 14 BT1 solo poses and 23 BT2 solo poses! I've tested many of the BT1 poses with Elenion and they either worked perfectly or could work with slight adjustments in lighty lights.
Valentine's Kiss Game by Utrennyaya / @wild-surge (Nexus) - 8 poses available for bt2xbt2 and many other body type combos, including short races!
Model Mischief by Utrennyaya / @wild-surge (Nexus) - a handful of solo poses for several different body types!
Raw by Utrennyaya / @wild-surge (Nexus) (Patreon) - smutty pack of couple poses, 13 for bt2xbt2 and 15 for bt1xbt2.
A Dance With Death by lifeofasin (Nexus) - 20 couple poses inspired by Astarion but apparently fitted for all races and body types, which is incredible.
Soulmate by Marymeeee / Maryposes (Patreon) - massive pack of friendship-themed poses. there are 50 duo poses that work for bt1xbt2, bt2xbt2, and bt1xbt1. and there are 40 group poses that work for groups of 3 and 4 in different combos. you may or may not see elenion hanging out with gale, wyll, and astarion on the mod page because i was one of the testers for the bt2xbt2 poses. mary deserves so much love for this absolutely incredible pack!!
And that's all I can think of for now! There may be more packs that include bt2xbt2 couple poses or nice bt2 solo poses that I forgot about, so I might add more onto this later and I will probably add them or any new packs I find later because I realized that I would love to keep updating this list every so often, for myself and for anyone who might be able to use it!
Outfits
PK Clothes and Armours by PseudoKociara (Nexus) - Elenion's main outfit is "Charming Rogue B" from this mod, which also looks very nice on Astarion. PK also has many other nice BT2 outfits on their Patreon that aren't available on nexus.
Gothic Wardrobe by Badwitch69 (Google Drive) - okay so, idk if there's a place to see photos of this mod. From my understanding Badwitch69 once deleted their mods and a lot of them were only reuploaded in this google drive archive they made. But this one has some really nice outfits and I have to mention it because the Rocker Boots from it are Elenion's default shoes.
Pino's Drip Collection by Badwitch69 (Patreon) - lots of nice BT2 outfits!!
Pino's Drip Part 2 by Badwitch69 (Patreon) - even more nice BT2 outfits!! This author has lots of BT2 things on their patreon so I'm not going to list them all.
Calimshan Pirate Outfit by Aloija (Nexus) - outfit that works on all races and body types. I mostly like this one because the necklace it includes is really pretty and fun to mix and match with.
V-Neck Rich Clothes by KinntheGreen (Nexus) - very nice fancy outfits with matching necklaces for BT1/2/4. these looks amazing on everyone. I use them on Elenion and Gale all the time.
Bloodrose Outfit by Arideyya (Patreon) - very pretty ruffled blouse with heels for bt2!! i remember this one getting the comments locked because people were upset that it wasn't for bt1, which made me upset because I didn't get the chance to thank the creator for making it for bt2. has a lot of clipping with long hair, which is unfortunate for my long-haired bard, but I just put Elenion's hair up and he looks great in it.
Yennefer's Wardrobe by bububull / @bg3screenshotdump (Nexus) - I appreciate Bububull so much and I don't think I've let them know that nearly enough. This is a port of some of Yennefer's outfits from The Witcher for all body types, which not only means it includes things for my halfling girl but it has dresses for BT2!
Triss' Wardrobe by bububull / @bg3screenshotdump (Nexus) - another set of outfit ports from The Witcher. Literally everything I said about the above mod applies here too.
Fancy noble gear by bububull / @bg3screenshotdump (Nexus) - listen I'm trying not to make this list a million miles long. But I used this mod for Gale's wedding outfit so it's gotta be on here.
Astarion's Gear by Cerberry (Nexus) - BT2 outfits made with, obviously, Astarion in mind. But you can mix and match the necklace, and the extremely low-cut fancy outfits look great on anyone.
Pirates and Rebels by Cerberry (Nexus) - Almost everything in here is for BT2, some of them work on other body types as well including BT4. I use the Swashbuckler Outfit from this on Elenion all the time, and sometimes on Gale and other characters too.
Deepspace Florals by OneEyeAskew (Nexus) - Beautiful BT1/BT2 outfits. I need to do a nice photoshoot of Elenion in these someday. These outfits have versions with pants, and versions with skirts/dresses that work on BT2!! Also, this modder really just has lots of lovely BT2 stuff on their nexus page. I used one of their mods for Elenion's wedding outfit but I can't remember which one so I figured out which one it was and listed it in the update!
Kascayde's Lingerie - Corsets and Fishnets Galore by Kascayde (Nexus) (Patreon) - Fun sexy lingerie for BT1 + BT2. This creator also has some other nice stuff on their Patreon including a maid dress for bt2.
Rose Bard Outfit by @wrenanigans (Nexus) - open shirt + corset + leather pants combo for BT2. admittedly this mod is a bit glitchy for me? you might need to go into the files and download the old version if the main one gives you any issues. worth it though because it's one of my favorite outfits to give Elenion.
Myky's Accessories by myky24 (Nexus) - I like this one mostly for the very pretty necklaces but it also has some circlets and crowns! They can be used by all tall races BT1-4.
Camp Pants by Belinn (Nexus) - takes lots of the vanilla camp outfits and separates the pants so you can wear them by themselves without a shirt. to be clear, the pants are added as new outfits so they don't replace existing camp clothes.
Leathery Garb by Toarie (Nexus) - you know that one vanilla camp outfit that gives bt1 characters a halter top but just makes bt2 characters shirtless? this mod adds that halter top for bt2! like the above, it's a new outfit, not a replacer.
Orzeca's Rose by Obscen1ty (Patreon) - incredibly pretty outfit for bt1 + bt2. this has become one of my favorite things to put Elenion in and I need to take more photos of it.
Khamsin Revamped by Obscen1ty (Patreon) - another very fun outfit for BT1 + BT2.
Secrua Revamped by Obscen1ty (Patreon) - and another awesome BT1 + BT2 outfit that includes heels for bt2! this creator has a few really nice outfits on their patreon.
The Libertines by ARAFEL (Patreon) - includes a lovely silk robe and slippers for bt2!
Aureate Arpeggio - Gilded Gown by BerrySemifreddo (Nexus) - very pretty shimmering gown for BT1 + BT2. i downloaded this because it looked so pretty on Lae'zel in the mod photos but it also looks great on the guys.
Aerith Gainsborough Outfit by StarlightSammy (Nexus) - port of Aerith's outfit from Final Fantasy VII for several different races and body types. I downloaded this for my halfling girl but I'm listing it here because it's a BT2 compatible sundress!!

Deepspace Collection Vol. 1 by OneEyeAskew (Nexus) - bt1 & bt2 outfits ported from Love and Deepspace. I used one of the outfits from this for Elenion's wedding outfit!
She Who Guides - Armor for Clerics of Selune by spek7re (Nexus) - Armor pack and for all races and body types. What I personally use this one for is that the sash is part of Elenion's wedding outfit and it also looks gorgeous on Gale. There's some nice rings in it too!
Ember's Wardrobe by Ariefel (Nexus) - bard-themed armor for all tall races BT1-4, I believe. I forgot to list this one before but several of my favorite outfits for Elenion come from this mod.
Cherrshen's Corset Outfit by Cherrshen (Nexus) - lovely corset outfit for almost all races and body types, though according to the mod page it seems BT4 is broken sadly.
Delicate Weapon by badwitch69 (Patreon) - 2 different outfits, a cute dress for bt1 and a v-neck armor for bt2.
Stellar Nocturne by BerrySemifreddo (Nexus) - gorgeous celestial-themed outfit for BT1 and BT2. includes dresses that both body types can wear as well as pants, shoes, and a cape.
Cadenza Oscura by BerrySemifreddo (Nexus) - lacy dress, heels, and veil for BT1, 2, and 3. elenion looks so good in the heels from this.
Full Moon - Sailor Moon Inspired Dress by Excapurr (Nexus) - exactly what it says! all bt1 & 3 races including shorties can wear this dress, and bt2 humans/elves/tieflings can as well.
First Crush by Ayuro (Patreon) - cute cardigan outfit for bt2, also supports bt1 and bt3!
Lestat de Lioncourt Set by Ren (Patreon) - gorgeous bt2 outfit!
Miryoku Outfit by baetor (Nexus) - includes some sheer shirts and short, open cardigans in different styles + pants. absolutely love these. they're also bt4 compatible.

We all love medieval times and some form of GoT or its spinoffs and I'm not immune to sims that shine and @littledovesz has done an amazing job with their version of Baelor! I love when people can make characters but I love it even more when they add their own flavor and OUGH becca did that here!

I like to categorize my da modding shenanigans in one place and I've decided to turn it into a rec list. Each game is separated into their own tab with a drop down for each category of mod. Also each tab starts with a page linking a tutorial and needed resources for modding each game for anyone new or just forgetful (me lol). I'll try my best to keep this updated.
