The sauna also sees use from a lot of the more building-oriented hermits like Bdubs, Joel, Grian, Wels, and wven Scar & Cleo. The amount of work that goes into building is tiring, and a good long soak in a hot sauna is heavenly after completing a build. Granted, they all have limits.

Cleo can’t stay for too long lest the moisture start to tear her skin apart

Joel stays the longest. All the work on that city has killed his back and the heat is too good for him.

Grian’s wings make for the perfect fan when he comes over, but they don’t tend to. Fit.

The heat makes Bdubs spontaneously grow moss on his skin.

A few examples of what certain Hermits bring:

Etho brings Sweet berry juice, salas and pie,

Bdubs brings Glow berry Salad and Glow berry pie, the Hemrits were slightly concerend if his dishes would be too simalur to Ethos but Glow berries are surprisingly sour as the they found out.

Xisuma makes Courses fruit sauce, roasted shulker and coures flower cakes.

Tango always brings Smoked Hoglin, its big and flavour full and only three other hermits can eat it, Pearl, Grian and Impulse due to them not being able to taste spice like the other Hermits. If anyone else tried to eat it, they would die on the spot (Scar tried it they know it's true)

XB brings Seaweed salad and a lovely assortment of smoked fish

Whatever Mumbo brings is always covered in Redstone. Tango, Etho, Zed and Doc eat it claiming that its fine sometimes Redstone gets in their mouths when working its not that bad (None of them want to admit that they eat it as a snack, Impulse takes a small portion he doesn't like the taste of redstone as much as the others)

Speaking of Impulse, he always brings Devilled eggs AL-WAYS.

Now on to the real fun one.

It's Joel's first big group dinner where he's excepted to bring something, he doesn't want to bring any Ogre dishes as there a bit of an acquired taste, so he decides to do a 180 and bring Fae dishes that he often makes with Lizzie.

Lizzie loves this so they get to work making deserts planning on making 1 or 2 except they end up making 38.

Every time their half way through one they think of another they like start making it then repeat until 38.

So Joel sneakily loads up the desert table and see that its a lot fuller than what their used to, so everyone who contributed to desert talks about what they brought to figure out where all this came from.

Etho, Bdubs and X say their usual, Pearl says she made a Pavlova, Skizz very happily announces he made an Angels food cake, and so on untill their left with the 38 deserts, thats when Joel very proudly announce that he and Lizzie made them.

This does two things 1) It baffels the Hermits because what? Joel made 38 deserts with Lizzie what? and 2) Marks him as a Desert man, someone they can go to to get good quality sweets.

Everyone leaves with at least one desert and Joels ego grew 3 sizes that day.

Zed likes to grind on wheat and grass while he builds contraptions. He says it helps him focus.

Pearl sometimes chews on her clothing, or other Hermit’s clothing. She says it’s a nervous habit.

Ren likes chewing on other Hermit’s boots. Just for the shenanigan purposes, according to him.

Mumbo does the same thing as Pearl, but more specifically he chews on his tie.

Beef will chew on small pieces of leather at times. He describes it as a relaxing action.

Tango will gnaw on the bottom part of a redstone torch while he works on a new contraption. He says he does it subconsciously.

Doc crunches on rocks occasionally. He says it’s satisfying to him.

Gem will chew on plastic while she builds, like plastic forks. She says it’s a calming mechanism.

Cub will bite into gunpowder. He says he likes the risk that it might explode at any time. He has yet to blow up from this mannerism.

Etho has adopted the same habit as Tango, expect he chews on the end of a soul torch instead of a redstone torch.

Blood doesn’t rush to her head or anything. This is Minecraft, gravity doesn’t make sense.

She seems perfectly fine dangling on an end rod inside someone’s base.

Bdubs totally refuses to even see his presents once they're wrapped let alone shake them, and just in general wants to leave it a surprise, but then immediately regrets his decision within at max 2 days then stares at people with his big eyes and begs them to tell him what they gave him

Grian already knows where most people hide their presents for other people from his habit of sneaking around to set up pranks, and thus knows what everyone on the server (including himself) are getting for Christmas (when he doesn't act surprised after opening them he just says "santas elves told me")

Scar, whenever any getting of presents are mentioned, he says "I thought Santa delivered the presents?" In the most innocent voice ever to the point no one knows whether he like, actually, believes in Santa Claus or is just making it up (in secret he begs grian to tell him what his presents are but grian refuses to say a single word)

Pearl keeps getting caught trying to check what her presents are but tries to get out of it by saying she's a Christmas elf and was just doing quality control

Gem has a elf on the shelf (multiple, in fact, some would even say too many) that she protects with her life against anyone who comes even close to touching it- which she did at first for fun but is starting to think the elves will actually "lose their magic" since pearl keeps moving them while she's asleep

Skizz might actually still believe in Santa Claus- nobody really knows

Cleo once gifted every single hermit an elf on the shelf that looks exactly like them- down to every last hair. Only problem is, the two newest hermits, skizz and joel, never got one, yet one has mysteriously appeared in their bases that cleo swears on their undead life she didn't make

Joel tells people he's too old for Santa Claus yet still writes letters anyways (not really because he believes in Santa, more for the fun of it) (Lizzie always offers to send them for him, so she can read them on the way and know what he wants for Christmas)

Grian and Joel have started saying jimmy is Santa Claus because he always knows what people want for Christmas- he denies it whole heartedly (Scott thinks it's cute) idk though, maybe he's just good at listening

He hasn't noticed. Everyone else has.

The Long Boi started off as being a scarf. It was Grian's first ever crochet project he attempted, back in the Evo days, so it was a little strange, and he ran out of wool so he changed colour halfway through, and then he never finished it.

As in, he didn't putting it down one day and then never pick it up, he just always continued making it. It was just never quite complete yet. Slowly, it gained notoriety among the hermits, and Grian named it 'The Long Boi'.

On last measurement, it stretched from Scar's fire tree to Gem's lighthouse.

Some sections of The Long Boi are specifically themed. Somewhere in it, Grian once crocheted his own face. Sometimes it's the perfect place to put that awkward amount of remaining wool. One winter he got every single hermit to wear The Long Boi at once. Unfortunately, Zedaph tripped over in it and got every hermit tangled up and it took about an hour to free them all.

Grian still says he's going to finish it one day, but he never will.

Gem will scorch her meat to a nearly-complete crisp before eating it. No one has seen her breathe fire in any other scenario (and quite a few Hermits still wonder why a deer-player needs to breathe fire, spit acid, or have a three-split jaw in the first place).

Grian does have a mouth, but he finds it more fun to stare at the food until it vanishes, especially when he’s eating with other people.

Like-wise, Etho never takes off his mask (and doesn’t have a mouth on his face, but the other Hermits don’t need to know that), so the food will also just disappear in front of him. Although while Grian’s food will just poof completely, Etho usually holds his up to his face while it vanishes gradually in bite-sized chunks.

Zedaph will eat his utensils and plate alongside his food. It’s not at all good for him but he thinks it’s funny.

Tango can eat using his mouth, but he gets a lot more energy and fuel from eating if he just holds food over his head and burns it. He’ll also eat/absorb fire if given the chance.
