This can last anywhere from 2 minutes (lost a game against xB) to 2 months (genuine disaster), and he usually has a bonus eye or 5 to show for his meltdown afterwards.

Literally.

xB is one of the ancient builders, who built the ocean monuments, and commands the guardians to guard them.

Keralis is a primordial Watcher, who was initially, as xB loves telling people, a mass of eyes within an infinite black voidlike substance, sent to watch over the construction of the Minecraft worlds.

Upon realising he was being observed by this blob of eyes, xB challenged it to a game of tic-tac-toe. Unfortunately, Watchers aren't familiar with the concept of Not Winning, so when xB won, Keralis insisted it was rigged, and they had to have a rematch. ('You're writing down everything! That's hardly fair!' 'Yeah, cuz you don't have hands' 'Exactly! It's not fair!' 'Then why don't you grow some hands and we can have a fair rematch')

Except, of course, that also didn't count. So there had to be another. And another, and another, for about 15 actual millenia. Keralis slowly became the form we all know and love: mostly human, aside from the occasional excess of eyes, from his insistences that xB having x-y-z was an unfair advantage.

Now, every single competition, and minigame, and game, xB and Keralis play is technically just a rematch of that original tic-tac-toe.

Pearl, particularly S9 Pearl, is a brownie

Initially, he was there for the whole 60ish days between the end of Secret Life and the start of Hermitcraft Season 10. But even after he (somehow) escaped, he kept returning to Secret Life when unconscious/asleep, forgetting he was ever free, until about an hour or so after waking up, and therefore feeling like he spent the full, slowly increasing, time there.

But it gets worse:

Time is messed up as well.

Inside Secret Life, time works like Minecraft days. Outside, it works like normal 24 hour days.

So: 20 minutes normally, is 1 whole day in Secret Life. 1 hour is 3 days, Scar's initial 60 days was almost 12 years. With additional time, it's now 15 years. Every time he wakes up, he's waking up with 15 years of isolation and terror and physical injury.

And the Watchers made him keep quiet, with threats of hurting him more, forcing him into a coma, even murdering him, so his conscience is eternally stuck in Secret Life. So he's left sobbing, inconsolable, in Cub's base, while his best friend has no idea what's happened, and no idea how to help him.

And he's definitely not coping by inventing an imaginary friend to comfort him when he's alone.

And he definitely isn't putting a LOT of his bad ideas upon said imaginary friend to avoid getting the blame for them and being exiled again.

And he's definitely not freaked out whenever he hears Scar's voice in isolation, and certainly not even more so when he uses the wandery, floaty tone he used in the Comfort Room.

And he is absolutely fine going into the 'safe rooms' on the server, the enclosed rooms designed as a place for hermits to calm down, particularly if possessed/dangerous. He is totally fine in small enclosed spaces on his own.

He is also totally fine in wide open spaces on his own, why wouldn't he be? He loves being out and wandering on his own through a brand new world. Alone. Feeling incapable of being with any of his friends, and stuff, or even raising a complaint to another hermit, particularly not when no one else realises how bad this is, and how much he's suffering, because he's not suffering, he's not traumatised, no of course not-

Doc, officially, has simultaneously the cutest and most anticlimactic sneeze on the server.

He'll have the longest, loudest, intensest run into it, and then-

Teeny tiny little goat bleat sneeze.

Also Doc crochets thick floofy socks for all the hermits with hooves or similarly unsockable feet, because he's worries about them being cold in winter

Before Empires it was more a 'if I trust you, fine, just not too tight', because the scars from the vex often hurt, and sometimes there was mild paranoia of thinking they're about to hurt him mid-hug.

After Empires, it became a no-go. In fact, most physical contact became a no-go, because now he's got more scars, and anything moving on his skin reminds him of sculk. Especially if he can't see it, it's constricting, and/or if it's something cold or slimy, So hugs, something he can't see, tight around his torso? Absolutely not.

And he knows it's irrational, and hates himself for it, but he can't help it. It's the same reason he will not, under any circumstances, walk through dense mangrove forest.

However, he does have a few exceptions:

-Cub is also perfectly giving hugs to the hermits, as long as they don't hug back,

-Scar is allowed to hug him, because he knows how to do it gently, and Cub trusts him 100%. Also Scar gives amazing hugs, and he loves hugging Cub especially, so who is he to deny that joy to his best friend? Surprise hugs are still off the cards, though, and Scar always asks before hugging from behind.

-He's becoming alright with being hugged by Cleo and Joe. Also Ren sometimes, because Ren is a huge hugger, and they've been good friends since Kingdomcraft

-Skizz may also be joining the list as well, currently only if Scar's around for emotional support, because gosh dang it his hugs are just that good.

-If another hermit is deeply distressed, desperately needs a hug, and there's no one else around, he will allow them to hug him.

The hermits are completely understanding of his boundaries, and happily listen to and obey them. Plus, if he ends up hugging hermits he doesn't usually hug, Scar gives him a cookie for his bravery.

The first time Doc actually interacted with a goat, it butted him off a mountain, killed him in one shot, and no one’s let him live it down.
