The Standing Rock Sioux doesn’t even own the land that the pipeline will be built under.

The Standing Rock Sioux didn’t speak out about their opposition to building the pipeline until the pipeline’s construction was nearly complete in North Dakota.

Records from the Army Corps of Engineers show that they scheduled hundreds of meetings with tribes to discuss the pipeline’s route. However, Standing Rock Sioux leaders repeatedly refused to attend the meetings or even communicate with them.

The pipeline in no way threatens the tribe’s water source.

Currently, the tribe’s water source is 20 miles from the pipeline. But it is being moved to Mobridge, South Dakota, 70 miles from the pipeline. 

Developers of the DAPL have offered to construct fresh water storage facilities, install water quality sensors, and give the tribe emergency vehicles if the pipe were to rupture. They refused.

The pipeline is to be built right next to the Northern Border Pipeline. This means that the Standing Rock Sioux had already allowed for the construction of a pipeline in nearly the exact same location. If they were so concerned about their water source or sacred sites being threatened, why did they allow the Northern Border pipeline to go through Lake Oahe?

Why is the Standing Rock Sioux protesting? They want money. They stated that they would allow the pipeline to go through the land under one condition: if they received a toll on the oil that passed through the pipeline.They want to charge a toll fee on the oil, oil that doesn’t even pass through their property.

South Dakota cops say To Hell with our Constitution and our First Amendment and illegally arrest a man for giving them the finger.

Yeah, maybe the guy giving the finger is an asshole, sure, but it is still protected speech.

Cops are the Government and the Government should and cannot be imprisoning us because they don’t like our speech, even giving them the finger.

This is a shameful arrest by Triggered cops. Cops don’t like the Constitution, go move somewhere else.

I'm 30 days clean today. What even is my life?? Fuck... kill me now. It's probably not very "recovery" of me to celebrate by taking a shot of vodka and 10mg of Valium but, hey, my drug problem is solely with opiates/tweak. Right...?
