hello everyone, I’m finally making an introduction post after having this blog for a few months, to introduce myself to this community!

about me

I’m 19, pisces, intj, portuguese, ravenclaw

I’m a uni freshman, studying engineering physics

I’m fluent in portuguese and english, and learning (or at least trying) french

Love reading, Miyazaki and Tarantino films, tea, bullet journaling, philosophy, physics (of course)

I mostly listen to alternative artists, like Lana Del Rey, the Neighbourhood, the 1975, a lot of rap too and lately kpop, my music taste is all over the place

Hello, I’m Becky! I’ve been an active member of studying amino for a while now, and circumstance has arisen where I’m in a position to hopefully add to the wonderful studyblr community.

about me:

I’m 17 and in my final year of sixth form

I’m from the south of England

I am proud to be a Ravenclaw

I have an unconditional offer from UEA to study history in 2018, so that’s cool

interests:

I’m a level one badminton coach - I love when someone gets something right after trying for ages, it’s so rewarding to know that you’ve helped them in some way.

I hope to teach English Lit in the future (yes I know I’m on a history degree it’s a whole thing)

I absolutely adore Shakespeare; his words are so raw and emotional, and they’ve prompted some of my creative writing coursework.

Costa Coffee... There’s one near sixth form and it’s where all my money goes.

The Romantic Poets: Keats, Byron, and Shelley are just so wonderful.

I spend my spare time bingeing those kind of naff British comedies - Big School, Little Britain, Outnumbered and the like. They’re so hilarious even after watching them several times through.

I dress almost exclusively in pastel colours, if I could marry a mildliner highlighter I probably would.

American Political History - I find it so fascinating how America, a country so young, became a superpower, and how it’s becoming a laughing stock.

I have my septum pierced, and I hope to get a couple helix piercings too...

goals:

through this blog, I want to - quite simply - provide resources for A Level English that I couldn’t find last year.

reach my A Level targets of A*AA

make some friends who also enjoy english! I’d love to chat to people who live elsewhere other than the UK!
