Ever searching for ways to bond with the rambunctious Clover, Twilight gladly offered to watch over her whilst her parents were preoccupied with the new baby. Princess Celestia often received these letters and was delighted to be read the improvement of Spike's eldest.

How does Clover get along with her aunt Twilight?
Twilight sees herself more akin to Spike's mother rather than sister due to raising him mostly on her own, but the relationship with Clover is a bit different. Not quite her granddaughter, not quite her niece, but still beloved nonetheless. Clover is a rambunctious, energy-filled trouble maker, but also such a witty conversationalist. Twilight hasn't had such fun company in ages, and Clover fills the Spike-shaped hole in her heart.

Clover absolutely adores Twilight. Though she gets lost in her scholarly pratter, getting to accompany her with her studies and spend time with Twilight is the highlight of her week. They have an incredibly close bond with each other, they're family through and through.
