Something about Meiko's card of Secret Distance

It just feels so wrong to me. Everything is just wrong. Like... You're taking Empty Sekai's licensed philosopher and making her pose like this. But If you think about it, this wrongness is actually right? (lmao that didn't sound coherent)
IDsmile is a song about identity, as far as I know. And on this event we discover for the first time Mizuki's troubles and most profound desires.
So it would make sense if the cards showed the "real" selves of the characters, no? I'll explain myself...
In this card, Meiko, which represents Mizuki's isolation and desire for things to stay the same is smiling, almost in a sensual way, because that's how Mizuki sees what she represents during Secret Distance and posterior events. The best way, the most eye-catching approach to her problems.
But this is only my interpretation lol I'm probably wrong.
Other thing that caught my eye the first time I saw this card aside from the unusual smile and the... Rather revealing outfit is the posture she's in, because if you flip the card you can actually see she's like leaning like a lot to one side (almost like she's slowly falling to lie down on the table she's sat in). This effect like disappears a little if you flip the card the way it is, which is a nice detail hehe.
I actually have a lot to say about this card set but most of it are just my ramblings...
Even though Mizuki swears in The Secret Distance that she doesn't want anything to change, she's lying
She wants a small change: she wants to know she's accepted and loved for who she is, she wants to stop hiding, but that idea seems so impossible, so unreachable, it's better to settle for more of the fun present
She feels like she'll suffer anyway, but at least this way she's beside them
Meiko comes from this feeling, the "knowledge" that every relationship requires distance to exist in a way that it's not ideal, but it's not as painful

been reading Mizu1 and Mafuyu is kinda mean. She's like "If Kanade can make a song, we can leave." to Ena. Idk how she's saying it cos I'm reading it straight from the wiki but from my perspective it's kinda unhelpful. Hopefully I might see a difference in her personality when I get to Mizu5

Well, I sort of re-read Secret Distance again and let me say that I didn't remember it was that good. Not only because it kinda sets the begining of Mizuki's story, but because it has this Niigo vibe that I just think it's iconic. Just like how I talked abt the dark festa event too.
It's actually interesting how in the event they talk about doing something different, which ends up being the "mistery tour", and in this sense I feel like Secret Distance is also different from other events because how is an entire Niigo focus with them just bonding and touching grass, just spending their best time like the friends they actually are.
And the cherry blossom scene... The parallels between how Mizuki seen them in middle school and how she sees them now with Niigo...
Idk, I just miss this kind of events, I wish they made them do a "mistery tour part 2" because I would tear up from nostalgia (ok, maybe I'm exaggerating)
