God, I ADORE this fic, and forgive the long ass post but I have quite a few things to say about it. First of all, very bittersweet that this is the second to last chapter, but I think that this fic truly was a wonder to read and the ending next chapter would feel complete. But the CHARACTERS?????

Hey so Porty, right. Porty is such an important character to me in this fic, especially as a trans person myself. I won't spoil anything but he's so amazingly written. Red Son as well! This fic really does remind me of some of my favourite pieces of literature and I find myself thinking about it REGULARLY. So I decided to share some art i did ^^.

And since its not exactly too obvious, the bugs on Porty's side are tear drinking moths (Hemiceratoides hieroglyphica and Mecisoptera litochroa). On Red's side are the monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) and the swallowtail butterfly (Papilio machaon). The flowers under Porty are obviously a rose and a sunflower, whilst under Red is a milkweed and a peony (the peony is for a reference to a different fic which you should check out by the same author)

So to keep this short and not get into my horridly complex thoughts about the characters analysis wise, HERE THEY ARE MY LITTLE FUCKERSSSSS
