Anthony Zerbe. Superb. Again. The focus is mostly on Dana (Lesley Ann Warren). In a foreign country, she’s undercover in a nightclub. After her contact is shot, her sleazy boss stumbles into the middle of her mission. He decides to cut himself in on the action. Very unusual and very tense episode. Final twist–at the airport–very clever and very satisfying. Fall 1970: Aired on CBS in Saturday’s first hour before My Three Sons. Against it: The Andy Williams Show on NBC, Let’s Make A Deal and The Newlywed Game on ABC. 10/10

While en route by motorcycle to rendezvous with the IMF in Switzerland, Paris (Leonard Nimoy) is captured by a team of enemy agents, drugged, brainwashed, and programmed to kill his control, Jim Phelps (Peter Graves).

I love this episode. While Leonard Nimoy was in "Star Trek: The Orignal Series," portraying Spock, he would invariably refer to Capt. Kirk as "Jim," when he wanted to make an emotional connection with his Captain.

Then, in "Mission Impossible," the IMF team leader is Jim Phelps (Peter Graves."

Star Trek's Leonard Nimoy joined the series in season four, and continued through season five. Also, actor Sam Elliott joins the series in season 5 (he's in 12 episodes), and returns for one more episode in season six.

Indie-pop duo JUNG, consisting of brothers Tom and Henrik Ljungqvist, just released their first single 'Tom Cruisin'' as an indie act on 23th May 2025 via their own label Känslofabriken. The song has already been praised on Swedish nation TV and radio taking the band toas far as to being specially invited by Paramount to the London gala premiere of Mission Impossible where they got to meet Tom Cruise himself. Since their debut in 2018, JUNG has surpassed 170 million global streams, as they’ve gone on to release the three albums including double platinum (SE) single, ‘Let Him Go (ft. Clara Mae)’ as well as the three platinum certified (SE) singles ‘Wasteland’ , "Follow your heart" and ‘Falling Free’. 

They have previously worked with several accredited members of the industry including Davide Rossi (Coldplay, U2, Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Depeche Mode), Fanny Hultman (a songwriter for the likes of Kygo and Ellie Goulding, LEON and Shy Martin), TIESTO’s composer Oskar Nyman, Sting and Melody Gardot’s songwriter Hilda Stenmalm, as well as BTS’ producer Tom Wiklund. The upcoming EP was mixed and mastered by Lars Norgren (who has previously worked with Tove Lo).

Rooted in classic melodic songwriting, the duo crafts a modern pop sound that blends emotional depth with elements of folk, indie rock, and atmospheric synths.
