Feeling the rush of blood going to my brain,

As the fever hits my body,

Missing the sensation of having you deep inside of me,

Whimpering sounds escaping my lips,

As I touch my soft warmth thinking of you,

This absence becomes too much to bear,

As I am forever starving to have you here with me...

Afraid to let anyone see,

What it's like to not be okay,

Anxious feelings making me crumble,

Numbing anything that might be left,

Of lack of humanity that you won't find in my eyes,

Expelling all the pain,

Too broken to be fixed,

The light has now shut off,

Leaving me in the dark,

Laying here on the ground,

Losing my way back home...

Laying here next to me,

Hearing your heart beating,

The rise and fall of our breathing,

Of the infinite nights we spent,

In each others arms,

The hours we spent talking,

I'm so tired of feeling this cold,

Counting the minutes until you come back,

Hoping that it's not too late,

For you to understand that,

You are my reason for living...
