Barbatos: Why do you ask?

MC: I’m exhausted and I really need to take a nap for a few hours, but I have too much going on.

Barbatos: I fear it would be quite irresponsible of me to stop the flow of time so that you may nap, MC.

MC: What if you took a nap with me?

Barbatos: I am not Belphegor. I’m afraid that tactic will not work on me.

MC: *sighing in disappointment* Okay. I'll ask Solomon. He might know a spell or something. And he'll definitely agree to nap with me.

Barbatos: …

Moments later, Barbatos found himself in his bed with MC cuddled up against him, snoozing peacefully. He mentally scolded himself for giving in so easily while his arms and tail tightened around MC protectively.

MC: And what exactly is in this blend?

Barbatos: *lists every ingredient*

MC: Mhm. And what are the benefits of those?

Barbatos: *details the benefits of each ingredient separately and together*

MC: Right and where exactly did you obtain this?

Barbatos: I made the blend myself. While I was able to find some of these ingredients at my usual market, I had to grow some of them myself in the gard-

MC: ?

Barbatos: MC. Why are you asking me so many questions about this tea?

MC: Oh, I just like to watch the way your eyes sparkle when you're talking about something you love.

Barbatos: I see. Then you must allow me to list everything I know about you.

MC was too flustered to speak. Barbatos only chuckled and kissed away their astonishment.

Lucifer: This had better be important.

MC: Can you change the batteries in my smoke detector? I’m afraid of ladders.

Lucifer: You are a sorcerer, MC. Didn’t Solomon teach you a spell that would help you with this?

MC: Yeah, he taught me how to summon you.

Lucifer: …

Technically MC was right & Lucifer decided he would rather indulge them than argue with them about it further. Thus the mighty Lucifer spent an evening changing smoke detector batteries.

Mammon: Yo, you hearin’ this?

Satan: *not looking up from his book* It's unfortunate we have such idiotic classmates, isn't it?

Mammon: *stands up, grinning* Let’s rumble.

Satan: *snaps his book shut* Fine, but please never say that again.

Destruction ensued. Satan & Mammon refused to tell MC why they were hanging from the ceiling later that day.

MC: What’s this?

Solomon: That would be Excalibur.

MC: How did you get Excalibur?

Solomon: People are kind of impressionable. I just did a little magic and convinced them I was Merlin.

MC: Uh huh. Lemme guess, you’ve also got the holy grail stashed away somewhere.

Solomon: Er…

MC: Is this what you’ve been doing with your long life? Pilfering significant artifacts throughout human history?

Solomon: Of course not. I’m safekeeping magical objects so they don’t fall into the wrong hands.

MC: I think it’s too late for that.

Solomon: Ouch...

MC: Oh no, that's too bad. I guess you'll just have to spend the evening here with me rather than cooped up in your lab.

Solomon: ...

MC: :)

Solomon: Ah, I see. I hope you're prepared for revenge.

MC: ??

Solomon: *pulls MC close and covers their face in kisses* By the time I'm done, you'll wish I would go back to my lab and leave you alone.

Needless to say, Solomon did not in fact return to his lab at all that night.

MC: *crying* What am I even doing with my life?!

Mammon: *panicking* Cheer up, MC! Uhhh you’re doin’ great!

Levi: *also panicking* Y-yeah! You could be a total loser like me!

MC: *cries harder*

Beel: Hey, MC. I had this carton of ice cream in the freezer, but I think you need it more.

MC: *looks up at Beel with big tear filled eyes, but has stopped crying* An angel…

Mammon & Levi: ?!

Beel gives MC the ice cream & a spoon. One empty carton later, Mammon & Levi have a better understanding of food therapy.
