I was talking about how awesome Esmeralda are? But yeah you can still lose with her. But undeniable she could 1 combo us easily. But if we sacrifice one of us then we could get a wipe out.
Nana is pretty much the one and only who is strong against any other heroes in Mirror Mode due to 5 morphs. I have seen Nana lose before too, but now after her revamp with her passive you have to kill her twice (just lost a game against Nana with Aurora).
Back to Esmeralda, to be honest if I was them I would have at least gotten Blade Armor and Dominance Ice to be a bit more durable. They got huge damage even if they went full Defense Items, so hybrid would have kept them alive a bit better.
For Hanabi I was literally the tank for my team. It hurts so much. But she is a great MM since her passive already gives her shield+lifesteal. At this point I was throwing away any lifesteal items because it becomes unnecessary/necessary. I needed defense so badly that I pick up Oracle and Wings of the Apocalypse Queen, both item will enhance the lifesteal+shield+def/mr. Getting Athena’s Shield won’t be as effective since they can steal shield. Also Deadly Blade (in this case or Necklace of Durance) is very important to counter heroes who have any sort of lifesteal/spell vamp. Sometimes I wonder if players actually got the in-depth knowledge about items and passive, the compatibilities. I can understand if they are new players. But players who have hit epic or above should start to be a bit more interested in such in-game knowledge or else it is very hard to keep going.

A quick weekend with Mirror Mode available!! I really really loves Mirror Mode BUT the first version is still more fun even if it was predictable. Now you will never know what enemy team will pick until it is too late. And some matches are just impossible if they have 5 of the same counters. Lost quite a few games with really bad counters heroes.
So I spammed probably more than 50 games and it is starting to get a bit boring when everyone just try to pick some meta heroes to play although they don’t consider whether your team can play them or not. Fanny must be the worst pick of all heroes in Mirror. Why? Do you really expect there are 5 experienced Fanny players in 1 team? Then the really good one will start to curse like crazy. Sorry but I am that kind of Fanny who walks more than cabling. All that aside I am glad I haven’t been forced to play Fanny this time around yet.
But Nana is still the strongest to go. Any Mages is hard to lose but there are exceptions. Lesley is still cool, Franco is still as funny as always if everyone is on the same lane. Leomord, Lunox, Harith they are all broken and especially Esmeralda. Unless you can get one good CC counter and burst you can’t really kill her. Valir is one of a good counter due to his 2nd skill. It took us 35 minutes to break down the match. I don’t play Esmeralda on a normal basis so my timing is always off, but ouff when their 2nd skill hit me on ULT it always gets cancelled, so annoying. Apart from Frenzy Mode I have never ever taken so much damage, over 500k.
One more day to go, go enjoy some ridiculous games!!

A shader that, as per its name, flips everything horizontally. Weapons are flipped, enemies are flipped, levels are flipped.
The only thing that isn’t flipped are the sounds, and boy is it disorienting to hear an imp firing from your left but it’s actually on your right.
