it sucks that the super mario bros movie looks AMAZING except for anytime mario opens his mouth. like
illumination’s animation looks beautiful and expressive and perfectly stylized for once
princess peach looks like she’ll actually have a role in the adventure and put up a fight, contrary to the games where she quite literally is the damsel in distress

the other voice actors are actually killing it??? jack black sounds like a big gravelly villain?? charlie day as luigi??? keegan michael key pitching his voice up for toad?? anya taylor-joy continuing to serve as usual as peach???
the only BAD thing is literally the main character. like mario’s iconic voice is completely missing. i hope they change it on god but i’m fully prepared for the entire cast and the animators to carry chris pratt
