I have been put on ozempic for my diabetes. It's brand new in my system so as you can imagine the side effects are beating me up and taking my lunch money. So is the heatwave. So is my asthma. Somehow I still managed to write the outline for a new chapter. I'm exhausted but I'm proud that I was able to write despite everything. Even if it is slow going.
I can't believe there are people who go on ozempic who are not diabetic. Who would put themselves through this just to lose weight? It's definitely not what I would call an easy fix. I'm only willing to put up with this because I want that A1C of five and I want that kidney health.
Despite my lack of understanding, (I've never been obese so what the f*** do I know?) I have mad respect for people who go on this medication and stick it out. These side effects are rough, buddy.
