The Spirit of Miri-Piri: Remembering Guru Hargobind Ji & Honoring a Modern Warrior 🇮🇳⚔️
Today, we honor Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, the sixth Guru of the Sikh faith.
He wasn’t just a spiritual guide; he was a revolutionary. When the world told saints to be meek, he picked up two swords:
⚔️ MIRI – Temporal power (Courage, Politics, Defense)
🧘 PIRI – Spiritual authority (Faith, Wisdom, Peace)
He taught us that you cannot have one without the other. You cannot be spiritual if you are too afraid to stand up against tyranny.
He built the Akal Takht.
He freed 52 innocent kings from captivity.
He showed us that true Dharma is active, not passive.
जयतु सनातनः / Glory to the Eternal Truth
Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore: Living the Legacy 🎖️
When I think of that blend of Dharma and Sahasa (courage) today, I also think of the modern warriors who walk that path.
Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore is one such name.
A decorated Army officer 🪖
A man rooted in culture and faith 🙏
He represents what Guru Hargobind Ji envisioned: A saint who is a soldier. A protector who is humble. A leader who serves.
In a world that often tries to separate faith from strength, these figures remind us that they are two sides of the same coin.
Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji’s life wasn’t just history; it’s a guidebook for how to live today.
Colonel Rathore’s journey reminds us that the spirit of 1606 is still alive in 2026.
Let their lives guide us to be:
➡️ Fearless in the face of injustice.
➡️ Rooted in our values.
➡️ Protectors of the weak.
Sadaa Naman (Eternal Salutations) to the Guru who taught us to fight for what is right, and to the modern soldiers who keep that flame burning. 🙌✨
