Mercilessly tormented a roomful of eternal accountants with asinine motivational platitudes, Repeatedly, EVERY DAY

walked in 2(TWO!!!) Gardens numerous times

read a sundial

caught 200 fish

and had a series of meaningful conversations, at least one about childhood trauma, with the Bull of Minos

I have not had this much fun with a game in a Long, Long time owo I haven’t had this much UNALLOYED fun with a game in I dont know how long. Dune: Battle for Arrakis? Shining Force?? Warcraft III Custom Games like Footman Frenzy and Island Defense??? I had allot of fun with Bastion and Transistor tho... I’m a huge fan of puzzle games, and strategy games, real-time or turn-based, but I dont think I’ve ever had FUN with them like I’ve had with Hades; their core-emotion is more Satisfaction: Coming up with a Plan, Executing The Plan, getting to see The Plan succeed.

Zagreus, from Supergiant’s new game Hades, is probably the Clearest example of a Knight of Blood I’ve ever seen in any media, ever. Honestly he hits practically every marker, canon and fanon u_u

I feel like writing something on it, but I’d have to

So instead of catching up on tumblr like a Sensible and Responsible Internet-Adult, I spent from 5-10pm playing Kingdoms and Castles, wherein you cram fantasy-medievalists into city-block-sized apartments called “Manors”(for some reason. It’s like 3-4 storeys tall and 25 ppl live in it. It’s an apartment block), shake your entirely metaphorical fist angrily at pyromaniacal dragons(I wouldnt mind giving them some hogs or loot, honestly, if they actl wanted anything OTHER THAN to incinerate your town. Guess they’re Reign of Fire dragons -__-), and trick dumb vikings into walking along walls while your much smarter archers infilate them with arrows, while fighting your real enemy: the Flipping city-advisor who wont stop telling you to build more houses every 30 seconds >:( >:(
