It gets awkward sometimes because my coworkers will tell me about sales at hot topic and stuff on Amazon because of the clothes I wear and the thing is they're RIGHT I do often see things I like.
HOWEVER I've been committed to cutting out fast fashion in every way I can the past few years and idk how to say that without sounding stuck up? Like I don't want them to think I think I'm better than them because I don't shop at those places. But also I'd like if they stopped suggesting things to me that I'll never actually buy.
Also there's a few things I've bought from fast fashion companies this past year. (I just couldn't afford shoes from better companies or thrift anything that fits, and I couldn't go to work barefoot) and idk if they'll think I'm full of bs for saying I'm cutting out fast fashion but making a few exceptions.

Got some clothes
So yesterday my mom and I went to the store, and I found a pair of black, stretchy leggings. Now, she insists on looking over everything I find, so I kind of had to come up with an excuse as to why I wanted to buy them, seeing as I haven't yet come out as trans. It just so turns out, I have this costume made almost entirely of black costume pieces I have gathered from all over. The excuse worked, and I absolutely love the leggings. I love the way they feel on my legs, I love the way they look on my legs (They're also a bit shiny, which I like), I just love everything about them. However, since they're supposed to be a costume piece, it might raise questions if I wore them all the time. For now, I'm really happy with them.
