I REALLY need to draw my OC's more often! I have fallen off!!!
One of these days, I HAVE to start working on Minidroid's story. I plan on reworking my Cosmic Rangers storyline, but I just haven't felt motivate to sit down and write something. One day I want to draw her, the next I want to make crochet plushies. My creativity has a mind of its own.
Anyway, I was able to make this pretty quickly! It helps that I had some Vocaloid and FNF music playing. Something about fast music gets me motivated. I think this is a VAST improvement from the last time I made Pride art for Minidroid. Not just the new character design, but the outfit is MUCH better. I was inspired by the Sunset Dress from Hello Kitty Island Adventure. The game is having a Pride event right now called Paper Parade, and you should have seen my face when I found out you can dye the dress into different Pride colors!

Pressed Down Love; Part Three: I have been working on it on and off since December... and I am just struggling with how to get to the ending I want.
No Name: Cole having a old fear of dragons bubble up during Hunted.
Hospital Visit; Movieverse: Kai relapses and needs to get stitches. Lloyd comes with them because Kai needs comfort.
No Name: Thinkfast Hanahaki. I descirbed it to @senseiwu in a ask.
No Name: Elemental Masters have a sleepover with Kai as the host. No clue on what I want to happen...
Trapped: Some stupid 'stuck in the closet' idea because it seemed like a fun concept to work with. With child Brad, Lloyd, and Gene (But with a unique twist, compared to the show)
No Name: Zane with a virus while Pixal is still an AI and Cyrus has to help them both feel better.
No Name: Another sick virus fic but with Mindroid having the virus. Sentry and the reluctant, but caring Cryptor are included.
No Name: Pixal reveals that she and their dad was forced to work with the Overlord to the white nindroids when she sees them trashtalking the original army for working with the enemy.
And I want to commit to multiple oneshots based on this old post of mine. I think it would have 8 parts from certain parts in the post, but I can't be too sure. But I do have two moments made in comic form instead of written form. But I would need to look for them to post them.
And that's all of my Ninjago fic ideas. I'm sure I can work and finish them. It will just be awhile.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVEN'T DRAWN MY OWN OC'S IN OVER TWO YEARS?! God, what kind of art block was I in?!
I've been feeling... unsatisfied with the current Cosmic Rangers storyline. I think it's time for a rewrite, refresh my mindset on these characters. First things first, Minidroid. Of the Cosmic Rangers roster, she's easily my favorite. She has been for years and I can't pretend she isn't. I have WAY more story ideas for her than I do for the others, and that's not the way you're suppose to feel about your supporting character.
I think it'd be better for the series if SHE was the main character instead of Stella. Don't worry, Stella will still be the team leader, but I think the cat should take more of a mentor role than a main character role. That way, I can focus my Mini passion into developing her story. Speaking of, I want to expand on her origin, where she came from, how she met the team, and how she joined Team Nova. That means I'll be remaking the first "episode". I already have some ideas for it!
For the moment though, here's her updated design! Something was missing from her old look, so I gave her more robotic details and a slightly different hairstyle. This means I'll have to update her reference sheet come next Art Fight, but that's okay. I need to fix all of those anyway. Next up, I'll need to redesign the rest of the team. I have ideas for Stella and Joe, but Abby might take a while. I feel like she doesn't look draconic enough. The villains will need new designs too. I'm committing to this! I'm gonna do it! If I forget, remind me!
This one is probably my favorite!
To end the fashion paintings, I decided to have some characters on a cat walk. Ultimately, I made all their dresses flower themed. I wanted them to wear colors they don't normally wear. So Gothica has yellow, Minidroid has blue, and Amber has purple!
Everyone loved the confetti I added as a final touch. I think my paintings are at their best when I have plenty of time to go all out on the details. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up the pace next semester.
