A soft hum gently entered the young ghost's mind as he drifted in the darkness of sleep. Distant and foggy, he followed the song it the edges of his subconscious and beyond, leaving its darkness.
Gradually, Phantom opened his eyes, shifting from the soft surface he found himself on. Blob ghost surrounding him, gingerly drifted around him as he moved, and he took a big stretch, slowly waking up. Flexing his claws, they felt a silky fabric underneath them, and instinctually he started making biscuits on them.
A soft chuckle rang out and a slight pang of irritation spread through Phantom for it and the pause the humming he had grown used to. Looking up, toward the source of the chuckling, the young ghost was met 2 giant roses inset in a ram's skull with spiraling crystal horns. Connected to the bottom of the skull were silks made of galaxies, which puddled together and formed the soft platform the youth found himself laying in.
Nocturn, he thought briefly, not in the same place he went to sleep.
Phantom stuck his tongue out at the Ancient, or the closest thing he had to one, and turned back around. The young ghost switched his focus to the ghost blobs that surrounded him, petting and squishing whichever got close enough for him to grab with very little effort. Suddenly, he felt a gentle pressure on his back, rubbing him up and down, as if to mimic his pets of the blobs.
At first, Phantom wanted to protest against the touch, but soon the humming returned, and the fight began to leave him as the soft sound lured him back to his sleep. Closing his eyes, he returned to the kind embrace of dreams, and the Ancient rejoined the meeting he and the other Gods of the Ghost Zone were having.
