this post is about an online DND campaign that i ran in 2022 for which i made the assets and went mad it started off as a little fun joke that it was a "normal dnd campaign" to get my friends to try the game but it was quickly apparent that it was all just minecraft (because we were all also on a shared minecraft server, aint i clever)
Creatures
(there are tools like LaTeX to format statblocks to look like the dnd books, i will not do this, for the sake of my poor poor broken little hands)

Illagers
the campaign (after surviving the first night) happened upon a village raided by illagers, so they became the first antagonists.

Nether Mobs
After the illagers tipped the players off to another, more dangerous evil lurking, they head to the nether
Ghast large undead, AC: 13, HP: 15, Speed 30ft, resistance to non magical attacks STR DEX CON INT WIS CHA +0 +0 +2 -0 +2 -3 - Fireball: range 320 ft, radius: 20ft. DEX11 save or take 5d6 fire dmg and back knocked back 10ft. take half in you saved.
WitherSkeleton medium undead, AC: 15, HP: 25, Speed 30ft, voulnerability to bludgeoning STR DEX CON INT WIS CHA +4 +2 +0 -3 -4 -4 - Cursed Sword: +6 to hit, 1d10+4 slashing + CON13 save to not take beome withered (take 2d6 necrotic dmg at the end of each turn)

BBEG
the bbeg of the campaign was herobrine who wanted to resurrect the enderdragon and bring her to the overworld.
he doesnt get a statblock cause i honestly cant decypher my notes here, but i can recount what he did loosely
He had 3 phases, starting out partially shackled and casting spells that also exist in dnd, then shedding his shackles and starting to teleport himself and the players, then finally teleporting everyone to the end and using abilities that felt more like ingame minecraft commands.
phase 1: chained mage
beholder aura, where his glowing white eyes nullify magic wherever he looked
Spells: Heat Metal, Counterspell, Lightningbold, Magic Missile
Legendary Actions: Move the beholder cone, teleport himself 30ft, spawn a Creeper
phase 2: toying with his food
after taking enough damage, he finally gets his chain off and teleports everyone to the nether. here he mainly fights with a very strong sword
the sword gets +1 dmg after every hit
Multiattack: 3x Sword: +7 to hit, 1d12+5
He has a fly speed of 30 ft.
He may swap with a player as an action (he can do this for example if hes flying over lava)
Trying to heal yourself or others actually harms them for that amount
legendary actions: teleport 30ft, 1 sword attack
phase 3: admin abulse
after taking more damage he has enough and teleports everyone to the nether to try revive the ender dragon. here i wanted his abilities to feel like minecraft creative mode/mod abuse
2 players must CON14 or start levitating until his concentration is broken
2 players must CON14 or become blinded until his concentration breaks
1 players must DEX14 or his weapon he is holding vanishes
Hardcore mode: if you die now, you are dead for good (as opposed to the rest of the campaign where you respawn)
as a reaction to being attacked, he may swap with a player and that player takes the dmg instead.
legendary actions: teleport 30ft, remove 1 chunk of the map, summon an end crystal
in retrospect this boss fight was a tad too long and very sloggy so if you want to run something like this, i think phase 3 alone would be good as well to get the vibes of herobrine across
