You know, seeing on how Patrick has a secret type for Girls, he obviously simps for Mermaids (You know, the Famous Mythical Creatures of Humanoids with Fishtails). So it must be that in Patrick’s taste for Women is obviously Half-Human Hybrid Creatures like those Gals (mostly for Mindy).
Also, Considering the fact that we only saw these Mermaids in one appearance (in one of the Shorts of the Anthology, “Legends of Bikini Bottom”), It’s a bit sad that we never get to see these Mermaids again after when Pearl took them to the Mall (I think they could have gotten some potential like if they were Pearl’s Best Mermaid Friends).
I think either Triton or Poseidon could have been their Heartthrob.
(Well, mostly for Poseidon but I can see that he does get a lot of Mer-Bitches even before his true nature)
Also it’s a bit nitpicky to say the least but there are other Mermaids (which are only minor) that do appear in the SpongeBob comics.
(Off Topic For a Moment) but considering for a Fact that these Mermaids from “ Welcome to the Bikini Bottom Triangle” have legit no canon names (since the writers never bothered to give any of them names), I would like to share my own Fanon Names for these Mermaids.
I’m gonna call this Purple Mermaid, “Taylor”.
The Mint Mermaid, “Piper”.
The Yellow One, “Michelle”.
The Blue One, “Stacy”.
And of course, the Other Green Mermaid, “Veronica”.
Those are my Headcanon Names that I had in mind recently for them that I would like to call them (since obviously each of them needed one).
